HEY YOU- Reneé Rapp wants to know if you’re done wasting your time being ‘MAD’ yet. And honestly, what reason could you possibly have to be ‘MAD’ when Reneé is constantly keeping us fed? ‘Leave Me Alone’ is easily on our Songs Of The Summer list, we went to war for tickets to the BITE ME tour, and you know we have ‘MAD’ on repeat just as Mother Reneé Rapp would want us to!
Reneé went on record saying ‘MAD’ is the greatest pop song she’s ever made, and we have to agree. We can’t deny that at first we were skeptical as to how it could top ‘Leave Me Alone.’ But we should’ve known better than to doubt Reneé Rapp’s topping capabilities. On our first listen, we couldn’t help but be awestruck at the harmonies she busts out throughout the song. Both vocally and musically, it’s like the harmonies are the scarf Reneé’s wearing in the music video that perfectly wraps her face and ties together her outfit.

Don’t even get us started on the breakdown in the bridge…we are on our knees for all the right reasons. ‘MAD’ is the second single from Reneé’s upcoming sophomore album BITE ME, which is out everywhere on August 1st. We might not have a full tracklist just yet, but we do know a few titles from the album that have been revealed by Reneé or her friends/colleagues. And from what we know so far, we want to hear ‘I Can’t Be Around You Anymore’ ASAP.
