As new songs get released and new EPs and albums get announced every day, it’s hard to keep up. The hive has been buzzing with all these new releases lately, and we’re constantly on our toes trying to guess the next big announcement. For now, we’re tapped into some of our favorite artists’ drops like Kim Petras, TYLA, Jessie Reyez, and so many more. Here’s what’s new and what we recommend listening to right now:
‘I Can’t Love You Anymore’ By Ella Langley
We’re in our country era! Ever since we discovered Ella Langley’s music, we haven’t looked back. She’s giving us everything we need in our country music, and her new song, ‘I Can’t Love You Anymore,’ is absolute perfection. The song is about realizing that one person you love is no longer the person for you. Looking around your room, there are memories of that person everywhere, but reminding yourself that the relationship was not the one is so hard. We all know that feeling a little too well, and Ella puts those hard feelings into a song that we can come back to time and time again.

‘Need For Speed’ By Kim Petras
Kim Petras is finally delivering us some new music! Dare we say ‘Need For Speed’ is Kim Petras at her greatest? It’s giving a mix of Charli xcx’s ‘Speed Drive’ and Kesha’s ‘JOYRIDE’ – we’re so here for this feminine energy at the wheel! Not to mention the visualizer just brings the song to a whole new level.
“[The song is about] constant push for more hits and more success, which ultimately erases your personality until your only personality trait is being so busy and fast that you basically don’t have a life.” She continues that in this song she wanted to “describe this feeling of being in a machine, but wanting to break out of it and feeling like you’ve become this monster version of yourself that isn’t able to let anyone in because there is nothing there except the need for going further and faster.”
Kim Petras stated in a press release

‘The Rising Skyline’ By FAILURE Featuring Hayley Williams
Any song featuring Hayley Williams is a song we need in our lives. ‘The Rising Skyline’ is an honest track about love (aren’t all the best songs?). The song’s lyrics could be interpreted in a number of ways, but we see it is about the small things the person you love does – the way they stand and the way they hold things in their hands. Of course, Hayley’s vocals add yet another layer of beauty to this track!
“Failure doesn’t do a lot of collaborations, but my friendship with Hayley, and her long standing support of the band, turned this song into a very satisfying duet. It’s probably the most delicate song we’ve ever done and her vocal approach really brought that out.”
Ken Andrews stated in a press release

‘CHUCK THE MONEY’ By Stephen Sanchez
Stephen Sanchez is back again with another hit! ‘CHUCK THE MONEY’ lets Stephen’s vocals shine alongside groovy production that reminds us of Bruno Mars’ The Romantic. We’re hoping Stephen adds this new song to the setlist for his Sing Love Again Tour! What did you think of the new track?

‘Kingmaker’ By Maisie Peters And Julia Michaels
Maisie Peters and Julia Michaels teaming up was not on our 2026 bingo cards, but we are so totally here for it! Julia Michaels is the voice and writer behind some of our favorite songs of all time, and now ‘Kingmaker’ might just be joining that list. Maisie’s voice blends so beautifully with Julia’s and reminds us of a sunny spring day – isn’t that how all good music should make you feel?
“Kingmaker is a song about power dynamics, chiefly about being a woman and feeling like you’ve offered your time, wisdom, talent, and belief to someone who has then taken advantage of it. It’s about the sting of uplifting someone, only to find out they didn’t deserve you in the first place; about giving a man the benefit of the doubt and having it thrown in your face.”

‘N.Y.F.F.’ By Jessie Reyez
Jessie Reyez has really been making a splash this year! Even though it’s only April, she’s been delivering us new songs after new songs. It’s been reminding us why we are Jessie Reyez fans in the first place – she keeps it real and honest in every lyric, which in turn inspires us to lead our lives the same way. ‘N.Y.F.F’ stands for “not your f***in friend” and is a song that brings us a toned-down version of Jessie, and we love this version the most.

‘COME SAY SUM’ By Lauren Sanderson
There’s honestly never a Lauren Sanderson song we won’t shout out. This week, Lauren announced the drop of her next album, LAUREN (out May 29th!), so that means we’re going back to ‘COME SAY SUM.’ The album announcement has got us so excited for new Lauren Sanderson music, and until its release, we will be streaming all her biggest hits day after day.
“I knew exactly what I was doing on this album.. and I did it anyway. This is that ‘blow your speakers out, makeout with that girl in the bathroom, drive too fast down the highway’ album. That’s LAUREN.”

‘SHE DID IT AGAIN’ By TYLA Featuring Zara Larsson
She did it again, and by “she” we mean TYLA. This time, she brought ‘Eurosummer’ popstar Zara Larsson on the track. The past few weeks, Zara has been teasing a collaboration (or two) with TYLA, and now the song is ours. Honestly, it’s about time these two artists collaborate! Both TYLA and Zara give summer it-girl energy, and the two of them singing on one track is only natural. ‘SHE DID IT AGAIN’ also comes on the heels of Zara Larsson’s deluxe album, Midnight Sun: Girl’s Trip, announcement, which also features TYLA!

‘Planting Tomatoes’ By Lucy Dacus
Lucy Dacus, we love you! Lucy’s new song, ‘Planting Tomatoes,’ is finally here, and it’s even better than we could have imagined. We love the song even more as it’s accompanied by a music video (filmed in Tokyo!). ‘Planting Tomatoes’ is a song about holding onto the things you love about someone as you start to feel them slip away. Like any great Lucy song, she has a way of putting the hard words into a beautiful song.
