i-dle‘s big comeback in 2026 has been building up for a while now, and it’s one we were all looking forward to because i-dle always have a way to change the game. We were given first tastes and iconic songs to prepare for a full comeback, and We made is finally here.
‘Gimme Dat Love’
It’s been a minute since i-dle dipped their toes into Latin pop, but it’s never failed them before, and it’s not failing with ‘Gimme Dat Love.’ The song feels like a breath of fresh air as i-dle explore their fearless aura from a different angle. The song explores the fearlessness of love, and in many ways it represents the message of We made as a whole. One thing about ‘Gimme Dat Love’ is that it will be stuck in your head for hours on end, and we truly didn’t expect anything less from these hitmakers.
We made
As much as ‘Gimme Dat Love’ represents perfectly this new i-dle era, the genius of this comeback comes from every single song in the mini-album. The first taste we got of We made was ‘Mono,’ back in January. With its addictive melodies and rhythms, ‘Mono’ is all about inclusivity and love in every shape and form. i-dle don’t shy away from acknowledging and celebrating everyone for who they are, for their sexuality and for their gender. It’s a song with such an important message that opens the mini-album full of love.
‘Morning’ is an absolute gem in We made. The bass in this track alone makes it good enough to loop for hours, but on top of that i-dle give us delicious pop melodies to complete that infectious bass riff. ‘Morning’ is all about being carefree and letting go of worries, and the song is so good, fun, and playful that it does exactly that every time you listen to it.
The big highlight of We made, however, is of course ‘Crow.’ No song has represented i-dle better than ‘Crow’ with its power, fearlessness, its genius twists and turns that highlight the individuality of every member, and the way it celebrates their hard work and the impact they’ve had on the industry. ‘Crow’ is a song that truly no one other than i-dle could do. It shows the genius of Soyeon’s mind and how well she knows how to make every single member shine and create the perfect i-dle song.
We made wraps up with one of i-dle‘s best ballads to date: ‘Love is pain.’ While the mini-album explores love in all its forms, it also acknowledges the fallout with beautiful melodies and striking vocals. The song, written by Yuqi, is full of yearning and passion. The title says it all: ‘Love is pain’ is the fallout of a relationship and feeling left behind. It’s the perfect full circle to the exploration of genres and the genius song-making i-dle showcases in We made.
