Telenova is an Australian trio who have the unique ability to make music sound like a movie playing in your brain. The band is made up of frontwoman Angeline Armstrong along with Edward Quinn and Joshua Moriarty. And this combination could not be more perfect.
Angeline is both a phenomenal songwriter and filmmaker and Edward and Joshua are extremely talented multi-instrumentalists and songwriters. Put all three of them together and you have the recipe for great songs and deep lyrics for everyone to fall in love with.
Their previous work was already nothing sort of beautiful, but ‘Teardrop’ is a whole new level of amazing. The soft vocals of Angeline Armstrong paired with deep and meaningful lyrics become a true feast for the senses. Especially when it’s all tied together by the stunning music video you can watch bellow.
‘Teardrop’ showcases the complexity of human emotion, oscillating between hope and the desire for happiness and the darker moments when we say or do things we don’t really mean. Humans are complicated beings and ‘Teardrop’ definitely succeeds in capturing that.
