Taylor Swift, or TSwift, has achieved a legendary album release of folklore. From the merch to the music to the release itself. It’s only been a short while since folklore dropped into our laps, yet it is the talk of the internet. Scoring number ones left and right as well as praise from thousands. It’s only been a mere nine days since the surprise drop. We’re speechless.
Taylor is the only artist in history to have 7 albums sell half a million copies of a studio album in a week. Fearless, Speak Now, RED, 1989, reputation, Lover, and finally folklore making for the seventh consecutive #1 entry on the Top 200 and 6th consecutive studio album with over 800,000 albums in the first week. People have been talking non-stop, from official to fan reviews. We’ve seen it all.

On top of all of these numbers and successes, Taylor also nabbed five 2020 MTV Video Music Award nominations. ‘The Man’ received nominations in categories “Video Of The Year” and “Best Direction” making these her very first directing nominations! Other categories include “Best Pop,” “Best Art Direction,” and “Video For Good.”
