The Honey Pop’s 5 Best Christmas Albums Of All Time

2020 hasn’t been the best year; that’s something we can all agree on! But it’s December and time for all things cheerful and festive, like all of the best Christmas albums. Growing up, holiday music is one of the many things that always put us in the best mood. From ‘It’s Christmas Time’ by Macklemore to ‘Lonely Christmas’ by Scotty Sire, the hits are abundant. Holiday albums are all that we’ll be playing for the next month, so here we go! Let’s talk about the best of the best.

Michael Buble – Christmas

When you think about modern Christmas songs, it’s almost guaranteed this man and his smooth voice pops into your head. Every year his rendition of ‘It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas’ fills malls and living rooms as families put up decorations. The music reminds us of the excitement leading up to the holiday. And that ‘White Christmas‘ collaboration with Shania Twain? Iconic!

Justin Bieber – Under the Mistletoe

Some refer to Justin as the prince of pop, whereas it should be more so the prince of holiday music. This album is bangers from top to bottom! The collaborations are crazy ranging from Mariah Carey to Boyz II Men to Usher. One song from this album you can’t escape is ‘Mistletoe;’ you will hear that it’s a given.

Taylor Swift – Sounds Of The Season

Swifties, don’t you worry; no Christmas album list would be complete without this country classic. Any album that has Taylor Swift’s version of ‘Last Christmas’ on it is destined for greatness. Hearing a young Taylor in her country phase sing these songs we all know and love warms our hearts. Plus, there were two self-written songs, and we have to give a shoutout to future Taylor for releasing the solo holiday single, ‘Christmas Tree Farm,’ which is a jam!

Mariah Carey Merry Christmas

We all are well aware of who sits on the throne as the queen of Christmas. For years, the most iconic holiday song has been ‘All I Want Is Christmas Is You,’ and it will forever stay that way. The rest of the album is solid, but come on! It’s hard to live up to pure excellence.

Pentatonix – That’s Christmas To Me

Five people with more beautiful voices don’t exist. Everything this group touches is pure magic and holiday music is the perfect vessel. From classic covers to the original masterpiece that is ‘That’s Christmas To Me’ front to back, this album is one that should play all December long. This year the band released a new holiday album, ‘We Need A Little Christmas,’ and we wrote all about it here!
