This past Wednesday we got to join in on the fun as Ricky Montgomery and Delaney Bailey stopped by Providence, Rhode Island. A delectable and energetic show, it was clear Ricky Montgomery and Delaney Bailey have been creating a safe space for fans to enjoy the whole night! And we were honored to be able to experience it with them.
Delaney, We’d Wait For You.
Delaney Bailey, currently a TikTok sensation (and a current college student), had opened up the show. Even though her music has a very slow and warming vibe to it, she captured everyone’s attention the moment she stepped onto the stage. Never have we seen fans so enamored by an artist—making the entire venue quiet (enough to hear a pin drop).
As she interacted with her fans and some newly made ones, she played alongside Ricky Montgomery’s guitarist, Kyle Moore. Delaney’s inviting nature left everyone wanting more. She ended her set with her most popular current song, ‘j’s lullaby (darlin i’d wait for you)’ and trust us, we were crying all the happy tears to see her finally in her element.

Now on the opposite hand, Ricky Montgomery and his crew started on a different note. Fans wiped their tears to scream it all out and jump around together. Covering songs like ‘Talk to You’, ‘Line Without A Hook’, and a sick cover of ‘Undone (The Sweater Song’ by Weezer, we got a pretty good taste of his discography.

Ricky, just as much of an icon as he is online, had made sure to connect with fans and answer some of their questions they had. Halfway through their acoustic set, Ricky interacted with some fans that brought signs—one having a “guess the country by shape” and one having Mr. Loverman on it. We applaud Ricky and his crew for being vigilant and ready for any trivia question thrown their way as they guessed the country’s shape on the second try.
Ricky and his crew are making their way across the East Coast. The Overtime Tour, Currently happening now, is creating some new waves. This twenty-eight-stop tour has been in the works for quite some time as some of the new dates had been part of the rescheduled shows. Ricky and his crew seemed pretty stoked to be back in action making new memories. Alongside Delaney for one half and Addison Grace for the other half. If you want to jam out all night, cry a little, and be noticed by Ricky, we suggest you snag a ticket!
