3 Reasons To Watch Night At The Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again On Disney+

You’re going to want to sit down for this one. In just a few short days, a new installment of the Night at the Museum series is coming exclusively to Disney+. (Right?!)

You’ll understand why we’re so excited if you’ve seen the 2006 original starring Ben Stiller and Robin Williams. We’re here to explain the three reasons you need to stream Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again.

1. An Original Storyline

Reboots can often fall flat in comparison to the original, especially if the new film uses a similar storyline or recycles the same jokes. Fortunately, it does not seem like that will be a problem!

Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again is an all-new animated film streaming December 9th, and based on the trailer, it follows Nick Daley, the new night watchman at the museum. He’s prepared to take on this responsibility, but when Kahmunrah escapes with plans to free the Army of the Dead from the Egyptian Underworld…things get a little more complicated.

2. A Star-Studded Cast

The next element to any great piece of media is a great cast. This Disney+ original features Joshua Bassett as Nick Daley, Zachary Levi as Larry Daley, and Joseph Kamal as Kuhmunrah.

Artist and musician Joshua Bassett made his acting debut in 2015 with the short film Limbo, but he came into stardom while playing Ricky Bowen on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. While Night at the Museum is his first time being animated, we’re sure he’s going to do a great job!

3. Some Familiar Friends

While this new film follows Nick Daley, a spin-off would be nothing without the original characters. You can expect to see all your favorites, including Teddy Rosevelt, Jedediah, Octavius, and Sacagawea, team up to fight against Kahmunrah.
