You know we are self-proclaimed SCREAM experts and fanatics over here at The Honey POP! So when we heard there was going to be a sixth installment in the series, we immediately started mapping out our theories and predictions. And as one of our main predictions foretold, this installment is looking to be one of the most thrilling ones yet! With every film shattering our expectations and making our jaws drop, we simply cannot wait until March 10th to see this film!
In SCREAM VI we’re leaving the familiar setting of Woodborough behind. Instead, we follow the survivors of the previous attacks to New York City. But just like every SCREAM before showed us, you can never truly escape your past or who you are. We might not be seeing the return of Sydney Prescott, but we will see the return of fan-favorite Kirby, from SCREAM IV.
Fans completely predicted both Kirby’s survival and return in the newest film and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t a part of that. Wes Craven, the creator of the SCREAM franchise, also confirmed prior to his passing that Kirby did in fact survive and he had the complete intention of bringing her back into the films.
Another main theory is that Kirby herself is going to be the one and only Ghostface. Now, this theory hurts our hearts, we can’t lie about that. Getting one of our favorite scream queens back isn’t something we take lightly. But the twist this would be? We also can’t pass up that jaw-dropping reveal.
