Our favorite K-Pop artists have given us some pretty incredible collabs with western artists over the years, including the likes of Lady Gaga (‘Sour Candy’ with BLACKPINK), Halsey (‘Boy With Luv’ with BTS), and MOD SUN (‘0X1=LOVESONG’ remix with TXT). But unfortunately, we haven’t seen the hip-hop legend Drake hop on a collab with a Korean act yet. Or have we?
Enter the viral TikTok creator bondolive, who’s been using an AI to imagine what it’d be like if Drake had a feature on some of our favorite K-Pop songs. Every single one of their videos so far has had us simultaneously laughing until we cry and dancing along wishing we could find these tracks on Spotify. Here are some of our favorite bondolive-produced collabs between Drake and K-Pop artists!
‘28 Reasons’ With Seulgi
So was Seulgi kissing Drake’s brother?! That’s yet to be confirmed, but we think Drake sounds right at home on the chorus of ‘28 Reasons.’ He nailed those high notes towards the end!
‘Ditto’ With NewJeans
The Drake version of ‘Ditto’ is already one of bondolive’s most-viewed videos within a few weeks, which tells you how iconic it’s become so far. Our only complaint is that he didn’t hit the falsetto notes – come on, Drake, we believe in you!
‘MANIAC’ With Stray Kids
We wouldn’t trade Felix’s deep voice on the hook of ‘MANIAC’ for anything… except maybe Drake singing it instead. He nailed that amazing chorus and even a rap verse. Who do we have to call to get him on an official remix?
‘ANTIFRAGILE’ With LE SSERAFIM
‘ANTIFRAGILE’ is already one of the biggest K-Pop songs of the past few years, and the only way we could see it being any bigger than it is now is if they got Drake to add a featured verse. That “anti, -ti, -ti, -ti, fragile, fragile” is what dreams are made of!
‘Nxde’ With (G)I-DLE
Our dream feature for a ‘Nxde’ remix would probably be a female rap icon like Nicki Minaj, but we really want this Drake version on our playlists! He did such a great job with Soyeon’s rap and his energy was on point.
