And if you’re Lev Cameron, you can effortlessly balance all three of those avenues without missing a beat.

Lev’s latest single, ‘Messed Up,’ is a sleek R&B-pop track about fighting with your partner and trying to figure out how to fix things. So we were stoked to get to talk to Lev all about it!

Check out ‘Messed Up’ below, then keep reading to learn all about the song and video from Lev Cameron himself!

We’ve had your new single, ‘Messed Up,’ on repeat since it came out! What does the song mean to you, and what has it been like for you to see how much fans are loving it?
Thank you so much for the kind words. I’ve loved all the amazing feedback I’ve got from my supporters, and I’ve honestly had a great time releasing it.

One of our favorite lines from ‘Messed Up’ is, “I ain’t perfect, just know that I’m working.” Are there any lyrics from the song that you’re especially proud of?
To be honest, I don’t have a specific lyric that I consider my favorite because I think that the whole song is my favorite.

Alongside ‘Messed Up,’ you’ve also given fans a stunning music video that sees you driving around Los Angeles with your girlfriend, Piper Rockelle. What inspired the concept behind the video, and what was it like on set?
It’s amazing, and we had a really fun time.

Speaking of Piper, you two have also toured together, and she appears in a lot of your YouTube videos! What has it been like to get to work on your projects together and support each other’s art?
It’s incredible that we could do something. We love together and have fun doing it.

In addition to music and your YouTube channel, you’re an accomplished dancer, and you’ve gotten to appear in music videos with the likes of Justin Timberlake and blackbear. If you could appear in a video for any artist, dead or alive, who would you pick and why?
It doesn’t matter – as long as it’s a fun music video and I love this song, then I’m sure I’ll have a great time!

What’s something you’ve learned from dancing or content creation that you’ve carried with you into your music career?
Always pay attention to your surroundings.

All of your YouTube videos end with “make sure you subscribe for a WILD ride.” Is there a certain memory from your career that stands out as the wildest?
The wildest moment in my career was performing my music for the first time to a crowd. It was absolutely insane!
