Pack Your Bags, We’re Following Scream VI To NYC!

If you were to tell us that each Scream movie gets you more and more obsessed with the franchise, we’d believe you! (Mainly because, same.) While nothing can quite beat the original, as Ms. Sidney Prescott said in the fourth movie, these new Ghostfaces have been shocking us to our core. (And we aren’t even the ones they’re chasing!)

After Scream V introduced us to the cutest sisters on planet Earth, Sam (Melissa Barrera) and Tara (Jenna Ortega) Carpenter, we’ve been dying to see them again. (Only partial pun intended.) Now, they’re coming back to us on the big screen, or should we say the big Scream? Either way, we haven’t been this excited since we heard Michael Clifford‘s vocals on ‘Emotions!’

Let’s Talk Cast!

While we are insanely sad to see that we won’t be getting our original Ghostface survivalist, there are some faces that we are so excited to have grace our screens again! Our favorite Meeks-Martin twins, Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and Chad (Mason Gooding), are back again to do their uncle proud! (Missing Randy Meeks a little extra these days. Mrs. Loomis, you’ll be hearing from our lawyers.)

We are, however, gutted (Yes, the pun was intended) that Dylan Minnette will not be returning as Wes! But everyone’s favorite weatherwoman is making her way with the Big Apple! That’s right, Ms. Gale Weathers-Riley (Courtney Cox) is back and better than ever! (If that was even possible – she is Gale Weathers, after all.)

Just as we have old, beautiful faces returning (We’re looking at you, Ms. Hayden Panettiere!) We’ve got new gorgeous faces joining us as well! Names like Anika (Devyn Nekoda) and Quinn (Liana Liberato) are joining the characters that we just know we’re going to love! Something about the gang that runs from Ghostface really gets us.

These Trailers? Impeccable!

When we say these trailers left us shook, we mean it. This Ghostface says they’re not like the others, and boy, do we believe them. From the new (well, old) mask to the use of a shotgun? This new Ghostface did not come to play with Woodsboro’s finest! We’re here for this new energy, because we could never chase someone all around NYC. (Unless it was Taylor Swift, of course!)

This movie is serving gore, suspense, and obviously stunning characters! The trailers have us on the edge of our seats; who’s gonna live and who’s gonna die? Who’s gonna be hiding behind that mask? Most importantly, what’s your favorite scary movie? (Ours is obviously Scream, duh!) Whatever this movie has in store, we can almost promise that we’re not ready for it!

Theories? Let’s Discuss!

Remember that giant discourse about one of our favorite little psychopaths, Mr. Stu Macher (Matthew Lillard)? We do, and we think about it every day of our lives. Who wouldn’t want to follow the infamous Stu Macher around in a cult of Ghostface? (We totally aren’t saying that we were cast in the movie alongside Matthew Lillard, but we also aren’t not saying it.)

With Ms. Kirby Reed coming back from the dead, we’re sure one of the original Ghostface can make his way back into the fold and our hearts. (We’re not apologizing. We said what we said.) The possibilities are endless, and as they said in Mean Girls, the limit does not exist! Anything can happen in Woodsboro and now NYC, too.

A Little Commotion For The Premiere? How About A Lot Of Commotion?!

Now we know we said the characters are gorgeous, but their actors? Perfection! They came to slay, not to play! We mean it when we say these looks are to die for. (Have we had enough of the puns? No. No, we haven’t.) From Jenna to Courtney, every look is just mwah!  What we would do to look like anyone on this cast!

We weren’t invited to the premiere. Yes, we’re heartbroken, but we know this movie is gonna be a hit! Tickets are on sale now, so get them while they’re good and run, don’t walk, to your nearest movie theater. We will be there every day for a week, watching this movie again and again! Scream VI is out March 10th, only in theaters!
