‘Chanel’ is a certified banger, and we can all agree on that. From the very first beat, ‘Chanel’ exudes energy and excitement. From trumpets to strings, the track perfectly blends Becky’s signature sound and fresh new elements, showcasing her growth as an artist and immense versatility! Becky G and Peso worked together to create a sound that effortlessly blends pop, hip-hop, and Latin music elements to create a uniquely gorgeous sound. It’s a testament to both artists’ talent and creativity!
Becky and Peso’s chemistry is palpable as they trade verses, effortlessly bouncing off each other’s energy. As per usual, Becky’s voice is flawless and is heavily complementary when mixed with Peso’s. The two of them are really cool. Is that sort of lame to say? Like, they are just so cool… Anywayyy, the music video is fairly simple, featuring Becky G and Peso Pluma in their hometown of Los Angeles and showcasing their Mexican roots in perfect harmony!
Becky and Peso are front and center, dancing, singing, and just straight vibing (we love relatable artists) to the track! It’s clear to see that Peso and Becky G had a great time filming the video together. We always love to see artists’ love for their own tunes. Ugh, it makes our stan hearts absolutely melt. *insert excited squeal here.*
Okay, let’s not ignore the fact that Becky G is holding and petting a chicken. Yup, you read that correctly, and you did in fact see it correctly. She is holding… a chicken. Why? We can’t be too sure. Do we live for it anyway? Yes, yes we do. Do we also like to scream and clown about it being a possible reference to ‘Chicken Noodle Soup?’ Yeah, of course, we do. It’s safe to say that from start to end, the ‘Chanel’ MV is a visual feast that perfectly complements the song’s infectious energy!
There isn’t much else going on throughout the video, and that is totally okay. We have absolutely zero problems watching Becky G and Peso Pluma vibe for three minutes and thirty seconds straight. No problem at all 🙂
