Friendship bracelets, rainbow flags, new friends, and incredible music, what more could you want on a Saturday night? Louis Tomlinson brought all of that and more to the Houston date of his Faith In The Future Tour and we were honored to just be in attendance!
Even though it was a scorching 95 degrees, every single Louie in that crowd had the best time exchanging bracelets, dancing, and just in general having a good time with their favorite artist.
Andrew Cushin + The Snuts Open For Louis
One thing about Louis that you may or may not know is that he truly cares about music and finding new bands and artists to love and support. So all of us Louies just knew his openers for the Faith In The Future Tour would be amazing and we were right!
Andrew Cushin opened the stage first and he was absolutely incredible. It was just him, his guitar, Rich Smedley, and his keyboard and they really held down that stage. There were even an incredible amount of fans that knew the words to his newest song, ‘Wor Flags,’ which has not officially been released yet.
Our favorite Andrew Cushin songs: ‘It’s Coming Round Again,’ 4.5%,’ and Wor Flags (unreleased)
The Snuts were up next and they had the entire crowd on their feet. If you like indie rock, you are going to fall in love with them. The energy they brought to the venue was contagious and made you want to sing and dance along, even if you didn’t know the lyrics.
Our favorite The Snuts songs: ‘Gloria,’ ‘Somebody Loves You,’ and ‘Always’
Louis Tomlinson Shuts Houston Down
Nine p.m. and it was finally time for Louis to take the stage. He started off with ‘The Greatest,’ which is the perfect tour opener and something we’ve been saying since he released Faith In The Future.
Not only did he play all of the hits on his two albums, Walls and FITF, but he also threw in a few 1D hits that we were stoked about. If you want to hear a rockier version of ‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go,’ make sure you stay for the encore!
Even with the brutal heat, us Louies held that venue down in support of our favorite person. There’s no one else we would be happy to brave the Texas heat and humidity for.
Our favorite Louis Tomlinson songs: ‘She Is Beauty We Are World Class,’ ‘Written All Over Your Face,’ and ‘Copy of A Copy of A Copy’
Louies Are The Best Fans
The Louis fandom is one of the best and most welcoming fandoms out there and no, we are not biased. *wink wink*
Fan projects, friendship bracelets, and love are all around at a Louis show and that is what makes his shows so much fun. If you go alone or with a group of friends, you will find your people at a Louis show. And if you happen to snag pit tickets, you can join in on the fan projects that are happening at each show date!
Houston’s fan project was holding up signs that said “You’re Our Angel” during ‘Angels Fly.’ And yes, we did tear up a bit.
