Style(s) On Tour: The Most Iconic Looks From Fans At Harry’s Concerts

As we reach the final shows of Harry Styles‘s mega Love On Tour, we thought it would only be appropriate to celebrate something that deserves all of the love: the fans’ fashion. Ever since the tour kicked off back in 2021, Harries have been serving looks upon looks, truly eating it up and even giving Mr Styles a run for his own money. From thrifted to handmade, splashing the cash to beauty on a budget, we’re taking a look at some of the most iconic looks worn over the past two years at HSLOT dates across the globe.

1.

One trend we found to be hugely popular during Love On Tour was the block-colored outfits. Fans pick a bright and bold color and use it as the main feature of their outfits. One great example is Ellie Conway, who rocked this beautiful blue look at Cardiff night two, color matching the shades well! She also added a little bit of her personalization with the cherries as a little nod to the iconic song ‘Cherry’ on Fine Line, with her mother getting involved in helping to make the patches for the pants. We’re obsessed!

2.

One creative trend we saw a lot at HSLOT was outfit recreations of things Harry has worn himself. We love this look worn by Rugilė at Warsaw, whose outfit was inspired by the first Wembley date of 2023. Rugilė incorporated the red and white heart print jumpsuit Harry wore on stage with a v-neck sweater vest that has a similar pattern, putting her spin on the original outfit.

In fact, another color-based trend that populated the Love On Tour crowds was bright pastel colors. We adore this look that Serena wore at Wembley night three earlier this year. Speaking about her outfit, Serena shared:

I took inspo from saracamposarcone with the layering lingerie over a piece of clothing! Obviously, I had to have some love heart sunnies, would be wrong if I didn’t have any! But I absolutely loved the floatiness of the mesh dress I wore and it was just everything!

I just enjoy experimenting with ways to style items and dress for myself and not think of what others like!

We love to see it, Serena.

One thing that works in the favor of fashion fans is that Harry’s music is very easy to incorporate into outfits. There are notably a lot of visual symbols to use. From various fruits to flowers, it’s not too tricky to find inspiration from his music and translate it into fashion.

Talking about the outfit she wore to Tacoma, Washington back in 2021, Sam tells us how ‘Sunflower Vol. 6’ from Fine Line helped her draw inspo.

Sunflowers have always meant a lot to me as they remind me of my grandparents, and I even have a tattoo I got before the song came out.

Sam

And creating a bomb look doesn’t always mean having to spend a lot of coin to achieve it.

I already had the dress and thought it was very fitting, and I added a shirt underneath because it was freezing in Tacoma at that time. All the accessories I already had as well!

Sam

For this reason, this is such a cute look that was also very weather appropriate for November.

At Love On Tour, all kinds of love were celebrated, including the platonic-kind formed through friendship! What we certainly love about Jessica Marie and her friend’s outfits worn at the first Cardiff show is that they incorporated the popular trends at HSLOT with the boas and cowboy hats, meanwhile also paying tribute to their friendship.

Telling us about their look, Jessica said: “Me and my friend got matching ducks and wanted to match their colors. I made my pink hat, it was black glitter with pink feathers.” Such a sweet concept!

6.

With how many looks served throughout this tour, you could very easily argue that Love On Tour was, in reality, a fashion show featuring Harry Styles, who provided the entertainment. Many Harries took on the mission of creating their outfits, and a lot of them understood the assignment. Laurel was lucky enough to attend several shows in the UK this year and sent us all of her incredible looks, including the two team efforts with her friends of coordinating denim jumpsuits for the second Coventry show and fruit outfits for the second Edinburgh show.

“My besties and I custom-designed some jumpsuits and spent many hours rhinestoning them. Mine was based off the song ‘Satellite.’ We went matching again based on Harry’s Paris outfit, but we were all different fruits. [The] tees’ were handmade.” Actual bestie goals!

7.

Naomi proved that simple but effective can really go a long way. Attending two Paris shows and a Cardiff show, they worked wonders with their outfits. The first one feels very much like a club/party aesthetic that incorporates the popular elements of a Love On Tour outfit of the boa and customization. “I custom-made the bows on the corset and painted the back of the trousers,” Naomi shares with us.

The second look also works really well. At first glance, it looks like a possible date night/red carpet look, but in actuality, it’s a subtle reference to another Harry song. Focusing on the lyric “in a black dress, she’s such an actress” from ‘Kiwi.’ We’re obsessed!

8.

HSLOT has truly been a ball for crafters, and Jenny Ley is an example of this. Speaking about the outfit she wore to Wembley and Cardiff, she said: “I crocheted my whole outfit by hand creating heart shapes out of pink and orange and sparkly yarns. I really wanted to capture the feeling of love with my outfit, and I feel like it does just that. It goes very well with the Love On Tour aesthetic of spreading positive vibes and happiness.” We think we can all agree that the outfit looks phenomenal. Fashion really is art!

9.

It’s no secret that Harry’s outfits, without a doubt, cost a pretty penny and are often custom-made by designers for him specifically. However, that doesn’t mean recreating his look is impossible if you don’t have a big budget. Paige shared with us this amazing outfit, saying: “I made the jacket from scratch for my sister, inspired by a very similar jacket worn by Harry at a previous show. Then he came out wearing almost the same pink trousers as she had paired with it!” Harries and Harry just have the same mindset for fashion, really.

10.

What’s good about customizing your outfits is that you have the ability to make something that’s totally unique and one of a kind for you. And you can surely get materials at reasonable prices from craft stores or online.

Astrid jazzed up her Love On Tour outfit for her Wembley show by customizing her denim jumpsuit with patches and rhinestones. She also put Harry’s initials on the back! If you look closely, there are some Harry-related references, such as a cactus and sunflower. It looks so good!

Harry Styles always manages to make his concerts a safe space that encourages everyone to be who they truly are at that moment. Love On Tour is certainly no exception! It’s no wonder that a lot of LGBTQIA+ fans find it comforting to embrace themselves at their shows, with many frequently bringing pride flags or incorporating their identity within their outfit.

Speaking about her outfit for Wembley, Emily says: “I painted the pride bucket hat and the butterfly shorts […], and my friend crocheted my bi pride top!” To emphasize, it looks incredible if you ask us.

12.

Merritt’s Love On Tour outfit is simply gorgeous and looks like something Harry would definitely approve of. We must point out that this also feels like a subtle tribute to Harry being a true star. Talking about her experience at the show, Merritt told us:

I’m an RN at a Little Rock hospital, and Harry’s team had donated a few tickets for us nurses! For it being 2021, after a year of working in Covid, it was the perfect night filled with joy. I took my bestie, who loves Harry too, and we coordinated star fits, but Harry was the true star of the show. I’m forever grateful!

Merritt

A true shining star, indeed!

For some fans, creating an outfit is like an art project you get to show off in all its glory once complete. As well as get total satisfaction when you get to wear it at the concert.

For her Love On Tour show in Warsaw, Julia took inspiration from Harry’s outfit worn in Mexico back in 2018 for Live On Tour and made her own version. We think it looks amazing!

14.

If being lucky to snag some last-minute tickets has you concerned about your outfit, worry not! After all, Lici has just shown us that it’s definitely possible to throw something together that can still look amazing! Talking us through how they sourced their outfit from at home, they said:

I had these jeans, which used to have a metallic effect on the side, but it had faded, so I bought glitter fabric paint to really make those shine again! A friend of mine lent me a pink wrap top to add over my velvet bralette, which truly made this simple outfit even better! And then I just covered my hair with glitter.

Lici

And voilà! An upcycled HSLOT-core outfit that didn’t break the bank.
