5 Nick Jonas Lyrics We’ll Never Be Able To Forget!

We here at The Honey POP love us a good Jonas Brother ! Every song they make is a certified banger and they perform so well it’s impossible not to love them! As a whole they’re absolutely perfect, but separately they’re just as insanely talented! Nick Jonas has shown us so many moments of lyrical genius, but we thought we would narrow it down to five!

‘Introducing Me’

“I eat cheese, but only on pizza, please / And sometimes on a homemade quesadilla / Otherwise, it smells like feet to me / And I, I really like it when the moon looks like a toenail / And I love it when you say my name.”

As avid Camp Rock stans, it’s almost a law that we include this absolute banger. Picture a young The Honey POP actually falling in love when we saw Nick Jonas pull out that guitar. It’s safe to say that he 100% altered the way that we see romance. If they aren’t singing us everything we need to know about them, we don’t want them!

‘Jealous’

“I wish you didn’t have to post it all / I wish you’d save a little bit just for me / Protective or possessive? Girl / Call it passive or aggressive.”

We can’t explain why we like this line as much as we do. It just scratches our brain a little too well for us not to include it. It could just be our Nick Jonas obsession but this lyric is a 10/10 in our books! (That’s a pretty big deal, our book is like a best seller!) Maybe this song just makes us live our Y/N lives, who knows!

‘Find You’

“Knock on the door but there’s no one listening / And I never really know just where to find you / You look for love but you never really try / You say it’s not but it’s always on your mind / Keep chasing gold but you lose a silver line / But I never really know just where to find you’.”

Now this set of lyrics is what we like to call musical genius. “Keep chasing gold but you lose a silver line?” Hello!?! There’s no way we were going to recover fully after hearing this lyric, and we haven’t. In fact, we listen to this song at least once a week to fully hear its genius over and over again. Nick Jonas wins again.

‘Chains’

“With her wine-stained lips, yeah, she’s nothing but trouble / Cold to the touch, but she’s warm as a devil / I gave her my heart but she wanted my soul / She takes ’til I break and I can’t get more.”

This song is in every Nick Jonas stan’s favorite song list, it has to be. (Or maybe it’s just in ours so we think it should be in everyone’s. It should be.) Tove Lo and Nick made magic here, and there’s no denying that. This is the ultimate club love song and we stand by that wholeheartedly. (And it’s just a bop!)

‘Burnin’ Up’

“I fell (I fell) so fast (So fast) / Can’t hold myself back / High heels (High heels), red dress (Red dress) / All by yourself, gotta catch my breath.”

We know that this lyric is technically a Joe Jonas lyric, but you can’t tell us you don’t immediately think of Nick as it’s playing. “Red dress” is one of the most iconic things in all of Jonas Brothers history, and for that alone, it earns the final spot on this list. We can’t listen to this song without doing Nick’s adlibs, which makes this a Nick and Joe lyric, and we love it!

There are so many Nick Jonas lyrics that deserve to be on this list, but if we sat here and listed every single one, we’d be here forever. Nick is just that good at making lyrics that keep us up at night. Whether it’s the lyrics being a work of sheer genius, or just the way he sings them, we hereby crown Nick Jonas the King of Scratchy Brain Songs.

What are your top five Nick Jonas lyrics? Do you have the same as us? What is your favorite of the songs we listed?
