If there is one thing we’re absolutely sure of, it’s that we’ve NAILED this list! Rory Gilmore has been a pillar in our adolescence, so we feel like we know her pretty well! Throughout Gilmore Girls, Rory is a coffeehouse-bookstore-acoustic-kinda music girl while still giving off all of the main character energy. Her favorite things about fall are all things warm and cozy, and these songs represent that so incredibly well.

‘All Too Well’ (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)
This one was a no-brainer. The entire RED album just screams Rory Gilmore. She would indeed be a Swiftie. ‘All Too Well,’ in all of its forms, has fall embedded in it, from the iconic lyrics like “Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place,” to just the general ambiance of the track.

‘There She Goes’ – The La’s
‘There She Goes’ always reminds us of the Parent Trap, which in turn makes us feel all warm and fuzzy, which in turn makes us think of fall. And that’s called girl math! So yes, this counts as a fall song! And Rory Gilmore would absolutely eat the sweet sound of The La’s up!
‘Roslyn’ – Bon Iver & St. Vincent
‘Roslyn’ is in the most fall–coded Twilight movie, New Moon, so it definitely fits the bill as a fall track! We can picture Rory Gilmore having a Bella Swan-esque moment sulking in a chair, looking out the window slipping into complete sadness as this track plays.

‘Autumn Leaves’ – Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran may just be one of the most fall/Autumn infused artists out there, so we knew we had to include one of his tracks, and when thinking about fall and that coffee shop, acoustic aesthetic we spoke about earlier regarding Rory Gilmore, ‘Autumn Leaves’ was by far the best choice.

‘Sarah’s Place’ – Zach Bryan ft. Noah Kahan
We are ending this list with a new release, but one that we think Rory would be all over! She would be a Noah Kahan stan, there’s no questioning it. Zach and Noah’s meeting of minds was the perfect catalyst for ‘Sarah’s Place’ to end up on a Gilmore Girls-inspired playlist.
