‘Homesick’ is a dream sequence of a pop song. So many of the things we love about the indie-pop space are incorporated while still feeling like a sound we haven’t quite heard before, and that’s something that is rare to find.

A Story Told – Mundane Magic
Listen, if pop-rock is the topic of conversation, we are going to contribute our voice! A Story Told is exactly the band we’ve needed in our lives. Mundane Magic is nothing sort of a fantastic record. We felt like main characters in a coming-of-age movie with every track, but none more than our favorite of the twelve tracks, ‘Have You Ever Met God?’

‘Emily’ is, simply put, a stunning track. Sophia Alexa sounds dreamlike and shows her vulnerability in a way that lets the listener find themselves within the words of the track. This track tackles insecurities, a fear of failure, a tragic feeling, so beautifully.

Rachel Grae – ‘Love Me Like The First Time’
Rachel Grae went to the Taylor Swift school of storytelling in music, and thank god for that. ‘Love Me Like The First Time’ is a heartbreaking look back remembering, how good something that you’re watching diminish was in the beginning.
We did shed a few tears while listening to this track. Rachel Grae really did that!

A breakup is a universal thing, something so many people need help coping with, and Lily Meola has provided a piece of that puzzle.

City Girls – RAW
We are ending this round-up on the highest of highs with a new City Girls album! Front-to-back RAW makes it clear that City Girls have been at the top of their game since day one, not a single skip on the entire record. That’s a rare occurrence with a full body of work.
