We love 5 Seconds of Summer here at The Honey POP! It’s not really a secret by any means, but we felt like it should be said again. With that, we’ve loved watching the band grow over these past years, and we just want to take a moment to appreciate them. Whether you’re a 5SOS fan or not, you’ll love these 12 moments!
5SOS In London – Video Diary Part 2
Starting with one of our favorites, we have one of the many video diaries 5SOS shared with us! It’s 3 minutes and 7 seconds of pure nostalgia, and we love it. The band being excited about snow, ‘Gotta Get Out’ fading in and out of the background, and the general 5SOS silliness we all have come to love.
5 Seconds of Summer – Target Prank
Is it too much to ask for an updated version of this? All we’re saying is that if someone who looked suspiciously like Luke Hemmings tried to make us buy a 5SOS album, we would buy it. Again, just the general 5SOS silliness from 2014 that we love so dearly.
5 Seconds of Summer – Amnesia In The Live Lounge
Of course, we had to include this 5SOS classic! ‘Amnesia’ is a timeless song we’ll love forever. This performance is a beautiful acoustic that deserves another moment to shine. Michael’s harmonies in this are our personal heaven!
The Meme Review With 5SOS
This is a work of art if you’re asking us. Michael took this incredibly seriously, and it honestly made the video! Honorable mention to Calum for laughing hysterically at the second meme, we found it very relatable.
5 Seconds of Summer – ‘Young Blood’ In the Live Lounge
5SOS in the Live Lounge you will always be famous! They deliver an amazing performance each time, and we’d expected nothing less. Acoustic ‘Youngblood’ is beautiful, and we wish it was done like this more often.
5 Seconds of Summer – Carpool Karabloke
Where do we even start with this video? We have a wonderful performance of ‘Don’t Stop’ and also ‘Strip That Down’ by Liam Payne. Yeah, there’s a lot happening here. 5SOS also showed us some beautiful dancing during ‘No Shame.’ Honestly, you won’t understand it til you watch.
5 Seconds of Summer – Spilling The Quarantea (Full Video)
This is too long to be considered a moment, but we had to include it! This video probably brought joy to more than just us through 2020. This is 44 minutes of questionable audio quality, Ashton bullying the entire band, and 5SOS doing everything but promoting CALM. We love it!
5 Seconds of Summer Teaches You Aussie Slang
If the whole band thing doesn’t work out, then maybe they could be teachers cause we definitely learned a thing or two! We’re still not sure that Ashton actually knows what “woop woop” or “yobbo” means, but we’ll take his word for it.
The 5 Seconds of Summer Show – Roast Interview
This is one of the many skits from their 10-year celebration, which, if you haven’t watched, we recommend it! This is beautifully chaotic and could definitely be the funniest skit they made. We never expected to see Luke challenge someone to an arm wrestle and Michael do the worm within the same 2 minutes, but we enjoyed it nonetheless.
5 Seconds of Summer – ‘Bad Omens’ (Live from the Royal Albert Hall)
Did we cry? Absolutely. We’ll never be over 5SOS performing at the Royal Albert Hall, but this performance, especially, is just the most beautiful thing we’ve ever seen. Their vocals backed by a full orchestra was something we didn’t know we needed until we had it. This performance is a full testament to their growth, and we’ll cherish it forever.
The Making Of Carousel
If we’re being honest, ‘Carousel’ could be our favorite 5SOS5 song it’s just perfect! We loved watching part of how it was created. From Luke’s vocals to Michael being our favorite producer, we’re so glad they decided to share this.
Tweet Dreams w/ 5 Seconds Of Summer
5SOS reading tweets about fans’ dreams? We’re here for it. The video opened with the band slandering ‘Don’t Stop,’ which we’re sure is just a typical Tuesday for them. Either way, we learned an interesting fact about Calum here, and we’d like to make it known we’d trust him to fly us in a helicopter regardless of whether he was licensed or not.
