4 Of Our Favorite Things From ATEEZ’s THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL Comeback

First thing we must do is ask who here survived ATEEZ’s comeback with THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL? No hands raised; well, we relate completely. Following closely all the teasers leading to the release of the full album, we already knew the group was coming hard at us, but we could never properly prepare for the real thing. There is so much to love about WILL, and we are here to break it down for you.

Looking at this comeback, there is plenty to talk about, so what we decided to do is to share our favorite things from it. Watch us ramble because we can’t guarantee we’ll keep this short and sweet. Well, we think we’ll nail the sweet part (wink). Time to start with…

‘Crazy Form’

What else did you expect us to get the party going with? That title song, craaaazyyy good! We can’t comprehend how ATEEZ manage to come off with a fresh new sound every time and still have that distinctive ATEEZ feel to it. There’s no other way to describe their music: these guys are simply unique, and so is their style. They can be trying out something different, but they will somehow keep their recognizable charm in their music.

From the way Hongjoong started off ‘Crazy Form,’ there was no doubt: this is a banger, and the rest of the track proves it with flying colors. ATEEZ are masters of catchy, addictive songs. We have ‘Crazy Form’ constantly playing in our heads to solidify that statement. There is also no doubt that every member gets a moment to shine in this song, as well as in its music video.

The fun we had while watching the clip for ‘Crazy Form’ is immeasurable. We laughed, we screamed, we swooned: basically, we felt all the good feels. We thought that was it, we had already lost it, and then ATEEZ had to come even harder (we didn’t think it possible!) If you’ve seen the music video, you know we’re talking about the scenes during the dance break. There are no words to describe how we felt when we first saw it and every time since. We’d be on the floor if we get so lucky as to witness this performance Live.

The Unit Songs & Solo

Ok, we have been shaking ever since we realized we are getting unit songs and one solo track in ATEEZ’s THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL. We could not be happier about these unexpected tracklist inclusions. Are we already imagining what these would look like performed on a stage? You bet! We have also started making the praying circles and manifesting them for the next tour (please, we beg, we need to witness these live!)

All four tracks present different musical genres, and we can’t help but feel like they also match their respective members. Hongjoong and Seonghwa definitely destroyed us with their powerful take on ‘MATZ,’ and to be honest, we expected nothing less from them. We can simply picture the demonic hyung line performing this and having the whole audience in a trance from how wild they could go with the song.

Next, Yeosang, San, and Wooyoung captivated our senses with ‘IT’s You.’ We fell for the dreamy sound and vocals and reached the point of no return with the groovy elements and chorus, which kept making us match the rhythm. We just know that a live performance for ‘IT’s You’ would send us screaming and crying.

To continue on the happy crying train, we are more than certain that is what will happen if we see Yunho and Mingi perform ‘Youth.’ The trance we’d be in from this track is different from the other ones, as the song touches the topic of youth and hardships, and combined with the beautiful vocals of the two besties, will be sure to get us every time. We are simply in awe at how good they both sound, it’s insane.

The last one on the list, but not in our hearts, is ‘Everything.’ We are beyond the clouds at the fact that Jongho got a whole solo song. Everyone who has listened to any ATEEZ track knows just how incredible and powerful the maknae’s voice is, and this song allows him to truly soar.

The Other B-Sides

You can’t love an ATEEZ comeback without being crazy over their B-sides. THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL offers plenty of tracks to choose from, but beware, you might just crown them all as your new favorites. With that said, it is without an argument that the album is the perfect finale for THE WORLD series.

ATEEZ truly spoiled us with this comeback, all the while outdoing themselves (as usual!) They ensured every single track on the list was perfect and matched their insanely contagious hype vibes. This week, we certainly lost it more than a few times when we played ‘ARRIBA,’ ‘Silver Light,’ and ‘Dreamy Day.’ Tomorrow? Next week? The songs might be fighting each other for the top spots.

The ‘Crazy Form’ Challenge

You may have noticed that we talked about wanting to see live stages a lot. With ATEEZ being performance geniuses, who can hold it against us? After seeing their ‘Crazy Form’ debut on the 2023 MAMA Awards and barely collecting ourselves afterward, we simply got addicted to the choreo and know there is no way to get tired of it, no matter how many times we watch it. You can expect us to see every single live they put out for this comeback.

While this may not be about actual stages, we wanted to draw your attention to the dance. You know where this is going, right? Yes, it’s the ‘Crazy Form’ Challenge that has already been going around! The time when we see ATEEZ interact with other idols, K-Pop icons old and new trying the fun choreo out, or simply the members themselves dropping their versions of the challenge.
