5 of Our Favorite The Boyz Choreographies

It is no news nor secret to anyone that The Boyz are one of the best groups when it comes to dancing, choreographies, and performing in general. They blow us away with every single performance, and it’s one of our favorite things about them. All members are outstanding dancers, but part of the beauty of their choreographies is how they manage to come together and form one body. Let’s be real, not many do it as well as The Boyz. We literally could never get tired of watching them perform – and so, here are only some of our favorite The Boyz choreographies!

‘No Air’

Let’s start with the definition of iconic. ‘No Air’ is a timeless song; that’s something everyone knows. Something else that everyone knows is the ‘No Air’ eye symbol. Apart from the key point, the choreography for ‘No Air’ perfectly balances slower and longer movements and fast-paced and upbeat moments of choreography. The Boyz make it seem so seemless and flawless how they mix the influence of contemporary dance and hip-hop. This is one of those songs that sit right in the middle between their bright songs and their dark songs – because, yeah, The Boyz can do it all.

‘The Stealer’

The thing about The Boyz’s choreographies is that they take the concept of the song to a whole other level. Any song by The Boyz can only be fully understood and appreciated to all its glory with the music video and especially the choreography, because The Boyz tell a story. And ‘The Stealer’ is definitely one of the most iconic examples of this. This choreography is just excellence; it’s top tier and a masterpiece. They were doing stunts to imitate escaping after stealing something – it was that serious. And how can we forget the shoulder move? This choreography has so many details that even three years after its release, we still find details to blow us away. It’s The Boyz in their best form.

‘REVEAL’

And talking about concept choreographies – would it be a list of The Boyz choreographies without mentioning ‘REVEAL?’ This time, the storyline they tell is about a man who turns into a wolf, and all the imagery shown through the choreographies is simply mind-blowing. ‘REVEAL‘ was a moment in history, a cultural reset, and a big part of that was because of its choreography. We’re still not over the beauty of this choreography; it’s simply addictive. We are down bad for this one.

‘ROAR’

There are many reasons to add ‘ROAR‘ when celebrating The Boyz’s choreographies and dancing abilities. It has so many unforgettable moments, and we could watch them perform this song every day of our lives. But it all comes down to, of course, the bridge. The Boyz simply did art with this song. Our brains still can’t compute the genius of this choreography. Remember how we were saying The Boyz move like one body? Yeah, this is the one to watch if you want to see how true that is.

‘BOY’

And we’re going all the way back for this last pick – but how could we possibly leave it out? We’ve already said The Boyz are known for how good they are as dancers and performers, and let us tell you that it’s been the case since day one. The choreography for their debut track, ‘BOY,’ is bright, lively, youthful, unique and so different to anything out there. Maybe we’re being nostalgic or emotional here, but ‘BOY’ remains in many ways unmatched. It took one song, one choreography, to make it clear that The Boyz would come to achieve all the things they have achieved as performers and as a group.
