Bring Me The Horizon’s ‘Kool-Aid’ Is Guaranteed To Kool You Down

New year, new Bring Me The Horizon track to absolutely lose our minds about! We might have to wait a little longer for POST HUMAN: NeX GEn to be ours, but it’s safe to say their new single ‘Kool-Aid’ is helping tide us over until that day comes. Whether you’ve been a Bring Me The Horizon fan since the start, or are new to the party, there’s something for every era of BMTH fan in this track.

The beginning of the song reminds us of Sempiternal mixed with the first POST HUMAN installment. It’s gritty, catchy, and pulls you in almost like a trance. Then the chorus hits, and everything goes to full speed. There’s something about the way Bring Me The Horizon crafts its choruses that just scratch something in the back of our brains. Would it be too much if we said we need it to survive? Because we’re definitely not saying otherwise.

This Is Gonna End In Tears

This track feels like a logical progression lyrically from tracks like ‘MANTRA’ and ‘TEARDROPS’ off of POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR. From ‘MANTRA,’ the opening track of the POST HUMAN era, with the line, “Do you wanna start a cult with me?” To ‘Kool-Aid’ reminding us that we always knew what we we’re signing up for when we said yes to that question. What can we say? Oli Sykes says jump and we ask how high!

2023 was a year for the books when it comes to Bring Me The Horizon‘s career. They played countless sold-out shows, massive festivals, and even had their own “pop-up cult” offering to help tease the new installment in the POST HUMAN series! If there’s one thing you can always count on BMTH to do, it’s bring it.
