TXT’s third world tour, ACT: PROMISE is officially underway! The group kicked it off with three sold-out shows at Seoul’s KPSO Dome, and that was just the start of their biggest world tour yet! From the storytelling to the stage design to the musical arrangements, every part of the show feels more elevated than ever before. What’s more, is that we genuinely think TXT curated a perfect setlist for ACT: PROMISE. It encapsulated their journey so beautifully, and the energy was relentless through all 25 songs (or 27 if you went to the last Seoul show, or the first at Tacoma Dome!).
We’re still in awe of what a dream come true this setlist is, so here are our thoughts on each and every one of their song choices!
‘Deja Vu,’ ‘Run Away,’ ‘0X1=LOVESONG,’ ‘Devil by the Window,’ and ‘Maze In The Mirror’
Imagine a discography so stacked that you can start your concert with three of your biggest hits, and not need to worry about losing people’s attention later on? Only TXT! This triple threat to start the show was so strong, though we’ll admit the tease of the ‘Eternally’ instrumental felt a little cruel.
But TXT didn’t slow down, immediately hitting us with ‘Devil by the Window,’ one of their most character-influenced choreographies. Rounding out the first section with ‘Maze In The Mirror,’ the song TXT wrote predebut about their difficult trainee days, was a punch to the gut and a jolt to the heart after all these hits.

‘Sugar Rush Ride’ and ‘Farewell Neverland’
Just when we thought ‘Sugar Rush Ride’ couldn’t get any better, TXT gave us the traditional version! Incorporating hanbok and buchaechum in the performance, as well as traditional instrumentation in the track, elevated one of TXT’s biggest hits to a whole new level! Following up this ethereal performance with one of TXT’s dreamiest tracks, ‘Farewell Neverland,’ was lowkey genius.

‘Chasing That Feeling,’ ‘Magic,’ ‘New Rules,’ and ‘LO$ER=LOVER’
We think ‘Chasing That Feeling’ is one of TXT’s most underrated title tracks, so we love that it gets to shine opening the next section of the ACT: PROMISE setlist. ‘Magic’ and ‘LO$ER=LOVER’ have never been left off a TXT tour setlist, and we’re so glad they’re here to stay.
We also love the return of ‘New Rules,’ even if they’ve changed the choreography so we don’t get tiny Taehyun getting carried anymore…
‘Ghosting,’ ‘Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go,’ ‘Trust Fund Baby,’ and ‘Quarter Life’
A huge day for the number one ‘Ghosting’ enthusiasts The Honey POP! We won’t embarrass ourselves by revealing our reaction when we heard that opening “Sarajin, oh sa-sarajin” during the livestream of the Seoul shows.
The flow of this section is so effortless, with ‘Ghosting’ making way for another 80s-inspired icon, ‘Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go.’ This segues into fellow minisode 2 b-side ‘Trust Fund Baby,’ which leads us to one of the most anticipated songs on the setlist… Our first TOMORROW unit stage! The maknae line absolutely floored us with the live version of ‘Quarter Life.’ The passion that all of TXT are able to push through their vocals is always astonishing, but this was a whole new level.

‘The Killa (I Belong to You),’ ‘Back For More’ and ‘Tinnitus (Wanna be a rock)’
When we first heard TOMORROW we were scared about a potential ‘The Killa’ choreography, and we were right to be. Soobin and Yeonjun delivered a jaw-dropping performance, and we think we might still be in shock. And then to immediately follow this up with ‘Back For More’ and the dance break version of ‘Tinnitus?’ Iconic and evil!

‘PUMA,’ ‘Good Boy Gone Bad’ and ‘Growing Pain’
‘PUMA’ is back on the setlist! Everyone cheered! This section (and lowkey the whole show) is a huge win for Rock TXT enthusiasts. We’ll never tire of TXT’s energy during ‘Good Boy Gone Bad,’ and we were giddy to finally get a ‘Growing Pain’ live performance. TXT (and the stage) were on fire, and we’re currently googling how to become a baseball bat…

‘Dreamer,’ ‘Deep Down’ and ‘I’ll See You There Tomorrow’
Whilst we still mourn that we don’t have the official acoustic version of ‘Dreamer,’ we are very happy to see the original make the ACT: PROMISE setlist. It was followed up by fellow FREEFALL b-side ‘Deep Down,’ and we didn’t expect to love the performance of this one as much as we do! The footwork choreo is insane, and it’s the perfect partner for equally intricate bop ‘I’ll See You There Tomorrow’ to close out the main set!

‘Magic Island’ and ‘Miracle’
Lore MOAs stay winning! We might not be smart enough to understand a lot of the storytelling around TXT’s magical worlds, but what we do know is that we love ‘Magic Island.’ And then to close out the encore, we get ‘Miracle?!’ We can’t believe our luck. Or that we predicted this outcome the moment that we heard TOMORROW for the first time! The final Seoul show got ‘MOA Diary’ and ‘Blue Spring’ too, proving that TXT were as reluctant to leave the stage as MOAs were to let them. In Tacoma, they added ‘MOA Diary’ and the English version of ‘Cat & Dog,’ so we’ll wait to see if these are permanent additions to the set!
Having wrapped up three nights in Seoul, the North American leg of ACT: PROMISE kicked off in Tacoma on May 14th! TXT will bring this iconic setlist to equally iconic venues like Madison Square Garden (twice!), before heading out on their first Japanese dome tour. The tour posters still say ‘more to come’ too, so here’s to hoping even more MOA around the world will get to see TXT and the ACT: PROMISE setlist in person!
