When we heard the 8123 Festival was happening again in 2025, we started packing our bags and counting down the days. Our attendance was solidified when the lineup was announced: Beach Weather, Real Friends, Grayscale, Bad Suns, Charlotte Sands, Diva Bleach and more! 8123 Festival day one was a killer show and one to remember!
Veronica Everheart
The day kicked off with one of our newest artists-to-watch, Veronica Everheart. Debuting a fresh blonde hair color, Veronica took the stage, guitar in hand, pumping the crowd up for what was about to be a core memory of 2025.
Diva Bleach
Hot off the Sad Summer Fest, Diva Bleach rocked our socks off in Arizona. From colorful hair to hard-hitting tunes, this all-girl band had us jumping up and singing along their whole set. The duo released their debut album, Can You Keep a Secret? only a few short hours before 8123 Fest began, but those hardcore Diva Bleach fans were front and center, cheering them on. We love to see girls slaying at festivals. It’s one of our favorite things ever!
Grayscale
In this house, we are Grayscale fans before we’re human beings. And just as we expected, Grayscale brought the fun and dancey tunes to 8123 Fest! The setlist included ‘Kept Me Alive‘ and ‘Let Go‘ and there was no way we weren’t going to dance and scream along with them. This was just a warm-up for what 2025 has to bring for Grayscale and we cannot wait!
Beach Weather
SURPRISE GUEST! SURPRISE GUEST! SURPRISE GUEST! The way our hearts leaped out of our chests when we saw Beach Weather‘s name across the stage! This East Coast band played some of their older hits to satisfy our hearts while also singing some of their newer stuff off their recent album, Melt. Nick, Sean, and Reeve gave us a show to remember, as well as having some of the coolest outfits we’d seen so far that day!
Bad Suns
Like a little pregame to their upcoming tour with Finneas, Bad Suns brought more beach pop vibes to our desert festival. As if their music wasn’t fun enough, we always love watching Christo Bowman’s little dancey dances on stage.
The Maine performing American Candy & The Maine
THE MAINE EVENT! (See what I did there?) Where can we even begin with this band?! Night one of fest consisted of the entirety of American Candy and The Maine‘s self-titled album, front to back! They truly didn’t skip a single beat. With their top singles such as ‘English Girls’ and ‘Blame‘ on the setlist, we were truly in for a treat for the entirety of their TWO-HOUR set! ‘Miles Away’ of course made us fall to our knees but was only the start. ’24 Floors’?!?!?! We could barely hold it together when they sang this one. Favorite Arizona band strikes again!!!
And last, but certainly not least, MR. NICK SANTINO joined the stage to sing their newest version of ‘Thoughts I Have While Laying in Bed.’ How will they ever top this night?! Such a killer show!
