K-Pop Hotspot: April 2025 Comebacks & Debuts Roundup

We’re well into spring, and our playlists are getting longer with each new K-Pop comeback and debut! Our April K-Pop Hotspot has plenty of new singles and mini-albums for your daily rotation.

April was a great month to be a K-Pop solo stan. But for now, let’s dive into our newest K-Pop Hotspot with the comebacks we had on our radar.

SOLAR

We’re kicking off our April K-Pop hotspot with Solar’s new single, ‘WANT!’ Our queen is not afraid to let us know what she wants, and we love her for it. And Solar’s music video visuals seriously need to be studied. ‘WANT’ is a dance-pop song with such a groovy instrumental. It suits Solar’s vocals, once again showing off the versatility of her solo discography.

XIKERS

xikers never fail to impress us with each new comeback. You won’t skip any song from their fifth mini-album, House of Tricky: Spur! The title track, ‘BREATHE,’ is a certified banger with an action-packed music video and insane choreography. We’re equally obsessed with their B-sides, ‘You Hide We Seek’ and ‘Rock Your Body!’

NCT MARK

NCT Mark has officially released his first full solo album, The Firstfruit! After releasing singles these past few months, he’s blessed us with a 13-track album that screams “MARK!” The title track, ‘1999,’ takes us back to the 90s with an incredible hip-hop instrumental. We can really feel the care Mark put into this album. He talks about his faith, hometown, members, parents, and so much more!

ONEUS KEONHEE

We live for the ONEUS members’ solo era! Keonhee just released his new single, ‘I Just Want Love,’ and we’ve been replaying it for weeks. He sings about wanting love from a special someone. It has the relaxing R&B vibe of a late-night drive. We love this mature sound on Keonhee and can’t wait to hear more!

AMPERS&ONE

By now, we think it’s obvious how obsessed we get with AMPERS&ONE’s music. Since their debut, we’ve been focusing on them, and with good reason. These boys never miss to fill our playlists whenever they have a comeback. ‘Kick Start’ is that fast-paced title track that you lose yourself to, jumping and having all the fun. It perfectly fits with the title of their latest album, WILD & FREE. And if you wonder where to start with the side tracks on this fun little drop, we have some recs for you. Maybe you’ll fancy not making mistakes by checking out ‘My Mistake,’ or perhaps the more retro piece ‘I Know You’ is more up to your liking. Whichever you go with, you won’t regret it.

KANG DANIEL

April has been an incredible month for K-Pop soloists! Kang Daniel is back with his new English single, ‘Mess.’ He sings about being so down bad for someone and being unable to stray away. He doesn’t care how toxic or messy it gets. Kang Daniel hooked us from the first listen of this sultry, addictive track.

OH MY GIRL

Summer started early for us with OH MY GIRL’s new single, ‘Oh My!’ These queens celebrated their 10th anniversary with such a refreshing new song. We can’t believe they’ve blessed our ears for this long, but we’re not mad about it. And the underwater concept fits them so well! We’re adding ‘Oh My!’ to our feel-good playlist ASAP.

NCT WISH

NCT WISH has just released their second EP, poppop! And dare we say poppop is a bopbop? (Okay, we’ll stopstop. Okay, now we’re done.) The music video for the ‘poppop’ title track is so fun and fresh. These boys know the concepts that best suit them. And what’s not to love about their B-sides? Our favorites are ‘Melt Inside My Pocket’ and ‘1000!’

TIOT

TIOT coming back with an upbeat bop was definitely on our bingo list, and we’re happy we get to check it! The boys always drop music that we get obsessed with, and no, it’s not just the titles. We are absolutely not tired of how much we’re listening to ‘FLEX LINE,’ as it gives us quite a fun experience. Of course, the members captivated us throughout the whole song. And no one can deny that addictive chorus. But we certainly can’t get enough of TIOT’s music, so naturally, we were happy about getting B-sides. We’re giving stream counts to ‘Always,’ and we think you’d understand why. The sound is different from ‘FLEX LINE’ in that it has a dreamy sound and atmosphere, and we’re in love with it. TIOT truly has something to flex about: their talent and sound.

ASTRO

Cue us crying from listening to ASTRO’s new song dedicated to Moonbin. We can’t believe it’s been two years already. ‘Moon’ features current and former members of ASTRO, as well as VIVIZ, Monsta X, SEVENTEEN, HELLO GLOOM, Choi Yoojung, Kim Doyeon, Cha Ni of SF9, and Bang Chan. Moon Sua’s rap verse hit us hard; we couldn’t stop replaying her part. We were fully sobbing at the compilation of everyone who contributed to this song.

HAN SEUNG WOO

We’ve been waiting for a spring song like Han Seung Woo’s ‘Positive Vibes!’ This song feels like a perfectly warm spring day with clear skies. Or one of those relaxing days when you have nowhere to go, so you roam. We love that he went with a pop-rock sound for this track because the guitar instrumental just feels right.

TWS

The K-Pop boy groups have been killing it! TWS just released their third mini-album, Try With Us, and it might be our favorite comeback yet! ‘Countdown!’ is a song about graduation and what happens leading up to it. TWS perfectly captures the youthful energy that comes with this milestone. We can feel them entering a new stage in their music, and we’re excited to see what’s next for these boys.

ONEW

ONEW ENGLISH SINGLE ALERT! We’ve been breaking the replay button while listening to ONEW’s new song, ‘MAD.’ He co-wrote and co-composed this R&B track, so we knew it would be a masterpiece. Each new listen somehow gets better than the last, and we hope we get more of this chill, smooth sound from ONEW.

TEEN TOP NIEL

Almost two and a half years since his last solo EP, TEEN TOP’s Niel is back with his fourth mini-album, SHE! And wow, was it worth the wait. The title track, ‘SHE,’ is as mature and seductive as we expected. And we’ve missed his beautiful vocals so much! His music video is a work of art, and we couldn’t keep our eyes off his dancing and outfits.

ONEUS LEEDO

We got not one but TWO ONEUS members’ solos this month. How lucky are we? Leedo’s ‘Sun goes down (Feat. YongYong)’ instantly became a favorite. You can be certain we won’t be tired of this one any time soon. Actually ever. The sound tickles us just the right way, and we simply feel too attached to Leedo’s solo. And we have to say, we’d be more than happy if we get more of this kind of music from ONEUS’ rapper.

YOUNITE

Looking for a fun new K-Pop song for your playlist? Then you’re in luck! YOUNITE released ‘Rock Steady,’ we vouch that it’s just what you need. Warning: The music will take control, and you’ll be swaying and singing the whole time. But hold up, this new comeback with YOUNI-T comes with a little surprise. Or should we say three of them? In addition to the lovely group B-sides, YOUNITE dropped three unit songs, each bringing a different charm. From the hard-hitting and lit hip-hop piece ‘Who’s Next?’ to the more melodic and easily addictive ‘Twilight Rush’ to the gentle ballad ‘Miracle Day,’ there’s just something for everyone in this comeback.

CHEN

CHEN welcomes us to his ‘Broken Party’ with a brand new single! No matter how much life beats us down, this song will forever lift us up. CHEN sings about dancing through the pain over a powerful rock instrumental. His vocals are as incredible as always. We’re equally obsessed with his music video visuals and acting. And we’ll be here to support him in this new era and every single one after that.

HIGHLIGHT

Seeing idol groups from older K-Pop generations still standing strong and making music fills our hearts with joy. HIGHLIGHT (AKA BEAST) came back in April, and you bet we were beyond excited with this announcement. Any time the group drops new songs, it’s a guarantee that they’re absolutely bangers. ‘Chains’ brings forth a more sophisticated and mature atmosphere while having such an addictive sound. It’s insanely good, and we know you’ll agree with us. And here’s our B-side recommendation, because why not: make sure to check out ‘Follow Me.’

DAVICHI

Do our ears deceive us? DAVICHI has blessed us with a brand new single, ‘A Song For You!’ And it’s even more magical than we could’ve expected. This duo never disappoints with their high notes and angelic vocals. We would do anything to see them perform this song live. But until then, we’ll be replaying this song all season.

ONEUS

ONEUS is not letting up this month! On top of two solo singles by Keonhee and Leedo, they’ve released a group Japanese single called ‘Time Machine!’ (Not including Seoho, who has enlisted 😭) The super sweet music video has a retro feel, and even Seoho’s plushie gets its screen time. The song itself is beautifully groovy and nostalgic. ONEUS already makes it feel like summer, and our TOMOON hearts can’t take all these feelings!

AB6IX WOOJIN

Where do we even start with this one? AB6IX’s WOOJIN giving us a new solo release was just what we needed. If a song could both blow away the summer heat and warm us up, then ‘Cool & Hot’ is what we’ll play at our parties and summer outings from now on. It’s giving us that irresistible get-up-and-feel-the-rhythm vibe. And to top that, WOOJIN collabed with Ha Sungwoon, so this is double the musical glee. Not enough of WOOJIN’s strong rapping skills? Make sure to listen to the B-side’ Name Tag’ to satisfy that craving. This single album is purely a no-skip.
