It’s a known fact that when it comes to EXO, they never disappoint. Whether as a group or as solo artists, the guys always gift us with exciting projects. This time, it’s D.O.’s turn to steal the spotlight, delighting us with his second EP, which literally surpasses every Expectation, be you human or bee!
D.O. is the Expectation!
At this point, we wonder if there isn’t something that D.O. doesn’t do well.
He is an exceptional actor, dancer, singer, and moreover, an amazing producer. Now, in his new EP titled 기대, he shows us his acoustic side and, the expectation of a longed-for love.
An EP with six songs and one acoustic version, Expectation has us hypnotized. We would describe this EP as a curious trip on how we expect love to be; and how we all make our own Expectations of what love feels or the person we want to share that feeling with.
Let’s Talk About The Tracks!
The main track of D.O.’s second EP is ‘Somebody.’ Undoubtedly, it is the perfect song to start a journey about subjective love. It’s an illustration of that feeling of wanting ‘Somebody‘ who can understand us. A person who fulfills our Expectations and starts a journey with us.
Do You ‘Wonder’ About ‘The View’ In The ‘Lost’ ‘Ordinary Days?’ Well, ‘I Do.’
If you switch it around a little, the tracklist for this EP basically explains the album. (Give us this one, we tried our best to get it right). In just six songs, we managed to connect with D.O., his voice, and a myriad of emotions related to the longing for love.

‘I Do’ was the first sneak peek to this great EP, where D.O. took the opportunity to tell EXO-L that this track was hoping to comfort them eventually. It’s a song that expresses the desire to spend life with the one we love. Not to mention that it has a beautiful music video you might wanna share!
