K-Pop Spotlight: VERIVERY, Catch The Young!, Taehyung and J-Hope.

As K-Pop fans, we all know the industry never sleeps. With hot new talent always emerging with new debuts, clues about lores shared overnight, concert announcements, new music, and more. Being a K-Pop fan is always exciting; there’s always something to look forward to. That being said, sometimes, keeping up is hard. That’s why we’ve got you covered. In this week’s K-Pop Spotlight, we share all the exciting news you may have missed, all in one place.

VERIVERY Fan-Meeting Go On Is Going On Tour

Like us, you probably spent the pandemic watching your faves do online fan meetings through live streams, and lucky for us, VERIVERY is bringing their fan meeting on tour. This June, the boys are taking their fan-meeting Go On across seven cities, with more to be announced! We’re thrilled about this news because fan-meetings always bring something different compared to concerts. While you can expect awesome stages and hours of great music during a concert, fan meetings offer fun segments in between songs that showcase the personalities of each member more. It could be anything from a ‘what’s in your bag’ segment to cover dance battles. They are super fun, and it’s super unexpected. Will they be stopping in your state?

BTS V ‘FRI(END)S’

Even during military service, Taehyung never forgets about the fans ARMY. His recent release ‘FRI(END)S‘ is a pop-soul R&B track all about pining for a friendship to move to the next level. Plus, it has a fun music video to go along with it. This type of track suits Taehyung’s deep and rich voice so much as he effortlessly shows the different ranges he can do in the song. Plus, the choir featured at the end absolutely soars, taking this song to another level. Plus, it features fun, witty lyrics that express how he wants to put the “end” in friends, but we know he will never put an end to releasing such great music.
