Frozen is by far one of the most loved Disney animated movies and we also are still obsessed with it. And so, we were so happy to see the origin story of no other than our well-beloved snowman Olaf hitting Disney+ last weekend. We had always wondered where this little man, who is made out of snow, got his personality from after Elsa formed him during her ‘Let It Go’ musical act. Once Upon a Snowman tells us exactly that and it is everything we ever wanted!
The film follows Olaf’s first steps as he comes to life and searches for his identity in the snowy mountains outside Arendelle. And it is so adorable we might have rewatched it a few times already! If you haven’t watched the trailer yet go ahead! You won’t regret it and you will want to watch the full story immediately.

Having gotten the full origin story of Olaf got us thinking where the other Disney sidekicks came from. We now desperately need the origin story of these characters and are begging Disney to give them to us sooner rather than later!
Pascal from Tangled
We love Tangled in this house and we always wondered where Pascal came from and what led him to be with Rapunzel. We need this information!
Mushu from Mulan
Mulan is one of the coolest Disney movies and Mushu is a hilarious sidekick! We would love to know what his story is and why he was demoted from a protector of the family before he goes out to help Mulan!
Timothy Q. Mouse from Dumbo
What did this little mouse do before he helped Dumbo to fly? What was his family like? Disney this is vital information!
Jiminy Cricket from Pinocchio
You might think his life is not important but we would really like to know who else he has helped out and what he does during his free time!
Gus & Jaq from Cinderella
Okay, our mice bias is showing but this is one of the most classic Disney movies and we just love our helping mice friends. And we want to know more about them!
