We first met Olivia Rodrigo when she got hired on to star as Nini Salazar-Roberts on Disney+’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. She is not only an actress, but she penned the song ‘All I Want’ from the series within three days of filming. The song went viral on TikTok and has gone on to become certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Olivia’s official debut single, ‘drivers license,’ is really what kicked off her music career. Olivia released her debut album, SOUR, on May 21st through Geffen Records. This album was highly anticipated and definitely lived up to the hype. We don’t know what we were expecting from Olivia’s debut album, but we are so obsessed with the entire album. Although each song can stand on its own, we believe the best way to listen to the album is to listen to it from top to bottom. Each song is perfectly placed and easily moves from one to the other.

This genre-hopping, angsty, yet self-aware album is going to top the charts and our playlists for months and years to come.
