Taylor Swift finds ways to keep fans entertained year-round, and the holiday season is no exception! Not only did she grow up on a literal Christmas tree farm, but she has holiday-themed parties for her birthday in December and shows her appreciation for the festive season in so many other ways. Here are five reasons why Taylor is the queen of the Christmas season!
‘Christmas Tree Farm’
Taylor used her childhood home to inspire an original holiday song called ‘Christmas Tree Farm’ in 2019. Last Christmas she dropped a live version, but this Christmas she’s dropping an “old-timey” version exclusively on Amazon Music! She recorded it with a live 70-member orchestra at London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios, and this version gives the track a fun retro flair that sounds like classic Christmas songs.
This new version is amazing because it feels like it’s that more laidback Christmas feel of doing all your shopping, and relaxing by the fire, and it’s definitely a bit more of that old-school Christmas song feel.

Taylor did just that in 2014 when she sent hand-picked, hand-wrapped presents to fans around the world! Not only does Taylor mention leaving “Christmas lights up ‘til January” on her 2019 track ‘Lover,’ but she also made the music video holiday-themed! The premise of the video is that her daughter receives a cute snow globe for Christmas and most of the clip takes place in the house inside the globe.

Taylor’s birthday is on December 13th, so it’s no surprise that she hosts festive parties every year! She mentions having Christmas lights as decorations at her 21st birthday on her 2012 song ‘The Moment I Knew,’ and threw a star-studded party for herself on her 30th birthday in 2019. We’ll just pretend our invite got lost in the mail.
