The clock is ticking, we are officially (as of today!) two months out from Mt. Joy releasing their upcoming album, Orange Blood. To prepare us for this much-anticipated release, Mt. Joy has released ‘Evergreen,’ which may be our favorite track from Mt. Joy yet! If ‘Evergreen’ is a good encapsulation of Orange Blood, we can already tell we will have this record as the soundtrack to the last half of our summer.

We have to talk about the ‘Evergreen’ music video!! Seeing cameos in music videos is always a highlight, but Creed Bratton?! That is the next level! We are huge fans of The Office, so seeing Creed pop up anywhere fills us with such unadulterated joy. Creed has such an infectious energy to him, Mt. Joy is beyond genius for adding him to the mix, we could easily watch the ‘Evergreen’ video on a loop.
After I sat in and played with Mt. Joy at the Greek Theater we established a friendship, and I was thrilled when they invited me to act in their video. Here it is, we had so much fun making it!

‘Evergreen’ is the third song we’re hearing from Orange Blood, joining ‘Lemon Tree’ and the title track, it’s three for three so far, no duds. We can hardly wait to get to break down the album for you guys and nerd out about what a one-of-a-kind group we are watching have this incredible moment with this record.
