Hey guys, don’t worry! K-Pop Soloist SUMMER CAKE is here to save summer with her brand new single ‘HELP (Feat. Jero)!’ Like SUMMER CAKE’s other singles, ‘HELP’ pulls influences from R&B and pop, and is about to take over all our playlists!
SUMMER CAKE made her debut in 2021 with the digital single ‘Love Villain,’ followed by ‘Dirty My Clothes,’ and THP’s fave ‘Not In Public!’ If you think you recognize SUMMER CAKE, you probably do! Your new fave songstress first came on to the scene through K-Pop entertainment shows Mix Nine and The Voice of Korea. We’re so glad to see SUMMER CAKE take center stage!
Plus, SUMMER CAKE is ready to take over fashion as well as the music industry! She’s the muse for fashion brand Targetto, and even released a song called ‘Targetto’ earlier this year. If you’re not familiar with the brand, they’re hot favorites with members of MAMAMOO, Dreamcatcher, and (G)I-DLE! We need to get our hands on some of their stuff now.

Thanks to SUMMER CAKE, ‘HELP’ is about to be at the top of our On Repeat playlists for months to come. The R&B track is a continuation of SUMMER CAKE’s Fake Loveism universe, all about the contradictory nature of lingering feelings, attraction, and bitterness over a relationship. We love the world-building SUMMER CAKE has already managed to create with a few singles, so here’s to manifesting an album from her in our future.
SUMMER CAKE and Jero’s parts are the perfect back-and-forth dialogue, as we see, and feel, both points of view in this conversation. Despite their words being at odds with each other, their vocals blend perfectly, and we love the sultry R&B vibes!
