What’s New This Week: Niall Horan, New Kids on the Block and More!

It’s that time of the week again! We are breaking down the best of what’s new to add to your playlists, and boy is this week stacked! We have new Niall Horan music, the new Carlie Hanson single, as well as new New Kids on the Block, and so much more! Let’s jump right in!

Cade Hoppe – Just Look at the Moon

We are kicking off this week’s round-up with a killer seven-song record courtesy of Cade Hoppe! Cade Hoppe is an artist we’ve been watching for a while, seeing the artistic growth that is so clear here on Just Look at the Moon makes us more sure than ever that Cade Hoppe is going to be a name you hear for a very long time!

Our favorite track of the bunch is ‘Dirty.’

New Kids on the BlockThe Block Revisited

Reliving the simpler days of our youth with The Block Revisited will go down as one of our favorite musical experiences of this year thus far. There is something so powerful about nostalgia, and about hearing artists you’ve always loved show the world they still have what makes them so incredible.

‘2 in the Morning’ will always reign supreme.

BANNERS – ‘Anywhere for You’

We’ve been BANNERS fans since he released ‘Someone To You’ back in 2017, so our appreciation for the way BANNERS has mastered his craft runs deep! ‘Anywhere For You’ is BANNERS flexing his relationship with his pen and his ability to write the love song we’ve always wanted written for us like no other song in his discography.

Carlie Hanson – ‘Starting Tomorrow’

If you’ve been a reader for a while you might know that around here we are huge Carlie Hanson stans. In our opinion, Carlie Hanson is a one-of-one artist. As an artist constantly reinventing herself, or rather just not boxing herself in, Carlie has managed to do that once again with ‘Starting Tomorrow.’ This track offers a lighter look at the outlook we all could have, of what could be, and that’s something we all need to cling to now more than ever.

Niall Horan – The Show: The Encore

The Show was already a perfect record, with no skips, so adding the extra tracks with The Show: The Encore, absolutely blew our minds. Niall Horan was meant to be making this kind of music, you can tell he’s found his stride, he’s found what fulfills him musically, and that makes us beam with pride for an artist we’ve loved for most of our adolescence.

Broadside – ‘Bleu’

Wow! What a way to close us out. Broadside may have just released their most personal song to date! ‘Bleu’ came in the wake of Oliver Baxxter (frontman for the band) finding out his fiancé was diagnosed with breast cancer, while that is an incredibly heavy topic and one we can’t even imagine having to endure, Broadside was able to convey these emotions so beautifully on ‘Bleu.’ This is how you write about struggle and uncertainty.
