It’s that time of the week again! We are back with a round-up of the best in what’s new! This week is absolutely stacked; with everyone from Ariana Grande to LVVRS, there is something for everyone!
Lvvrs – Midnight Fantasy
We are kicking off this round-up with a debut EP from your new favorite band, Lvvrs! To have a debut EP at the caliber of Midnight Fantasy is quite impressive, and made us instant fans! If you’re a fan of indie-rock or honestly rock in general, we think you’ll find a new favorite track amongst the five songs on this record.
Our personal favorite is ‘Hypnotic Love.’

Thomas Headon – ‘Middle of the Night’
Have we turned off ‘Middle of the Night’ since our first listen? No! Do we think it’s the best song in Thomas Headon’s discography? Yes. Yes, we do! There’s no doubt in our mind that Thomas Headon is heading for superstardom, he will be the next big thing.

Brynn Cartelli – ‘Boy From Home’ (Live Acoustic)
As soon as we hear Brynn Cartelli and acoustic in the same sentence, we are in, no need to say anymore! Brynn has one of the most effortless and smooth voices in music, which couldn’t lend itself any better to an acoustic track. ‘Boy From Home’ had already struck a chord with us with its incredible lyrics, and this version has only elevated that.

Wallows – ‘Your Apartment’
They are back, and any and all calm we had left is officially gone. This era is already starting off on the strongest note possible, from teasing ARENA shows (we will cry) to releasing music that gives us the sound we’ve come to love from Wallows, while still showing their artistic growth, it’s going to be a good one!
‘Your Apartment’ automatically skyrocketed to a top ten Wallows track for us, and that’s high praise considering their discography.

Maya Hawke – ‘Missing Out’
Just when we thought we couldn’t love Maya Hawke more, she goes and releases ‘Missing Out’ and convinces us that she is about to become a mainstay on our “ on-repeat” playlists. Truly, being this talented should be illegal! We are going to need a full-length project pretty much ASAP.

Ariana Grande & Mariah Carey – ‘yes,and?’
We were already beyond stoked when we saw that Ariana Grande was releasing a ‘yes, and?’ remix, but seeing that it was featuring Mariah Carey? That had us left without jaws on the floor. The tie between Mariah and Ariana had always been there, with their voices being near mirrors, so to see them embracing that and collaborating on such a smash of a song is something out of our biggest musical dreams.

Alex Warren – ‘Before You Leave Me’
Alex Warren has always been an artist who wears his heart on his sleeve, making music that truly pulls at every heartstring. ‘Before You Leave Me’ is no exception. Making your fears of being left the focal point of a track can’t be easy, but by Alex doing that, he’s opened a door for listeners to feel less alone in said fear.

Elle Darlington – ‘hiatus’
Ending this round-up with Ella Darlington couldn’t be a better fit! We are full-on obsessed with the song and convinced that we are witnessing a pop star being born. Anyone who isn’t tuned in needs to change that immediately because 2024 is the year of Ella Darlington.
