The first time we pressed play on ‘His Car Isn’t Yours,’ we seriously had tears brimming our eyes! For any SwiftieLuvs out there, this is like a combination of the nervous magic of Taylor’s ‘Electric Touch’ and the frustrated sadness of ‘The Way I Loved You.’ The song tells the story of what should be the beautiful start of a relationship, but WENDY is still thinking back to her time with an ex, wishing that her new partner’s car in her driveway was his instead. It really showcases WENDY’s ability to tell a story through not only the lyrics of her songs, but also her vocals and how she expresses those feelings.
