Our favorite Philly rock band, Grayscale just released their new song just in time for their co-headliner tour with BOYS LIKE GIRLS. ‘Landslide?’ No. ‘Let It Go?’ Nope. Grayscale’s new song is, ‘Summer Clothes!’ Not only did they post clips on their socials, but they sent some lucky fans rubber ducks along with a QR code to tease the release. This one joins the ranks of ‘Just Right,’ and ‘Twilight.’ How so? They’re all hor-rifingly addicting. And lyrically! They all reference “feeling alive.”
‘Summer Clothes’
Grayscale’s new song, ‘Summer Clothes’ is a summer banger. This song gets us off the couch, so we can dance to it. We absolutely loved the raw emotion of ‘Not Afraid To Die’ and ‘Mum II’ but their latest track is lighthearted with a fun catchy beat. Sonically, this single has a different vibe and is more pop-rock compared to the rest of their discography. But the lyrics are still unapologetically Grayscale and we love them for it.

‘Just Right’
We’re firm believers that the intro track is one of the most important because it sets the tone for the album. And the intro track ‘Just Right’ from their 2019 album, Nella Vita does just that. It also has some of the most iconic lyrics.
“I’d give it all just to feel that alive again”
‘Twilight (My Heaven)’
Another banger from Nella Vita. As soon as it starts, you get hyped. We loved hearing it live on their last tour with Smallpools. Any Grayscale song with parentheses in the title is an automatic favorite.
“You were the last time I felt alive.”

Like we mentioned earlier, they’re currently on their co-headliner tour with BOYS LIKE GIRLS. While we obviously don’t know if ‘Summer Clothes’ makes the setlist (we’re manifesting though) later this summer, they’ll also be supporting Marianas Trench. So be sure to get your tickets!
