Valentine’s Day is almost upon us! And whether you’re boo’d up or not, there’s plenty of time in the day to enjoy catchy K-Pop love songs. The title tracks may get all the attention in an album, but there are so many K-Pop B-side tracks that deserve just as much hype!
We at THP can always appreciate popular K-Pop tracks, especially in our monthly K-Pop Hotspots. And now’s the season to celebrate love and heartfelt lyrics in high-quality, underrated tracks. Here are 10 K-Pop B-sides you need on your Valentine’s Day playlist!
BSS – ‘Love Song’
Our first Valentine’s Day K-Pop B-side recommendation is part of SEVENTEEN BSS‘s newest single album, TELEPARTY! Rather than a song about being in love, however, ‘Love Song’ is about remembering a past love and waiting for them indefinitely. Yes, we needed to get in our feels first. DK, Hoshi, and Seungkwan stole our hearts with this tender B-side, and we know they’ll win you over, too!

n.SSign – ‘XOXO (Complete Me)’
Before the end of 2024, n.SSign knew they had to bless us with their third mini-album, Love Potion. And their B-side, ‘XOXO (Complete Me)’ is absolutely perfect for your Valentine’s Day playlist! ‘XOXO (Complete Me)’ is a love confession to someone with whom n.SSign wants to be more than friends. They sing to someone who completes them in every way, and they can’t deny their romantic feelings anymore.

TWICE – ‘Like It Like It’
TWICE‘s 14th mini-album, Strategy, was one for the record books! From their collab with Megan Thee Stallion to the highest quality B-sides, Strategy had no skips. One of our favorite B-sides is the energetic ‘Like It Like It,’ which we found especially fitting for Valentine’s Day. TWICE knows their power over us, and they’re not afraid to declare what they like and what they want more of in this track.

CLASS:y – ‘Love Game’
The next entry for our Valentine’s Day K-Pop B-side playlist is CLASS:y‘s ‘Love Game,’ from their third mini-album, LOVE XX. We’ve missed seeing these girls on our timelines, and they finally made a comeback last November with killer new tracks. ‘Love Game’ is an upbeat track about playing with the thrills of love, unsure of who will win. You’ll want to throw a dance party with this B-side; we know we do!

Jin – ‘Heart On The Window (With Wendy)’
Jin‘s collab with Wendy from his first solo album is on our playlist of favorite B-sides ever, not just Valentine’s Day-themed ones! ‘Heart on the Window’ is a duet about a long-lasting love, one that’s marked by a heart drawn on a foggy window. Jin and Wendy’s vocals join in a collab we never knew we needed until we got it! We can’t let Valentine’s Day pass without replaying this track at least 8412921034 times.

BABYMONSTER – ‘Love, Maybe’
Our next Valentine’s Day K-Pop B-side is ‘Love, Maybe’ by BABYMONSTER! The girls slayed their first studio album, DRIP, but ‘Love, Maybe’ stood out to us from the first listen. It’s a slower, acoustic English track about a first love. BABYMONSTER captures the confusing and uncontrollable feelings that come with falling in love for the first time, and their vocals are beyond impressive.

STAYC – ‘Meant To Be’
STAYC‘s latest comeback with their fifth single album …I deserved way more love. But apart from their title track, the B-side ‘Meant To Be’ has the most Valentine’s Day vibes. This R&B track pairs easily with STAYC’s soothing vocals. The girls sing about a love that feels like fate. They sing about how they can find this love no matter how far away they are from each other.

P1Harmony – ‘All You’
Y’all know we love P1Harmony baddd! Their seventh mini-album, SAD SONG, has to be our favorite comeback yet. And ‘All You’ is a beautiful B-side that would fit into our Valentine’s Day playlist perfectly. Its cute, lovesick lyrics contrast with P1Harmony’s edgy, bad boy concept, proving their versatility once again. The boys sing about a love that takes over their days and minds, a love that is all about just one person.

BANG YEDAM – ‘Lovin’ Ya’
BANG YEDAM‘s second mini-album, GOOD ViBES, saved our summer playlist last year. And revisiting it will surely save our Valentine’s Day playlist! The B-side ‘Lovin’ Ya’ is an addictive song about showing someone how much you love them. The chorus itself deserves a dance challenge. It’s a whole vibe, and we can’t help obsessing over it. The lyrics hit even harder knowing BANG YEDAM wrote them himself.

PURPLE KISS – ‘Heart Attack’
The final recommendation we have for your Valentine’s Day playlist is ‘Heart Attack’ by PURPLE KISS. A B-side from the group’s sixth mini-album, BXX, ‘Heart Attack’ is such a groovy love song. We feel like we’re in a dream every time this song comes on. PURPLE KISS’s vocals are criminally underrated. And ‘Heart Attack’ allows the girls to shine as they sing about falling in love and needing to tell that special someone.
