It’s our favorite time of the week is here! We are breaking down the best of what’s new in music! From the new Ashley Cooke and Joe Jonas collaboration to the new Jensen McRae single, we are stacked!
Wallows – ‘Coffin Change’
Is there a better way to kick off a new music round-up than with a new Wallows track? Obviously not! ‘Coffin Change’ delivers the signature Wallows sound we always crave while still feeling like Wallows are naturally progressing and only getting better. ‘Coffin Change’ is a part of the upcoming EP, More, which will be available for our listening pleasure later this month.

Dove Cameron – ‘Too Much’
Dove Cameron is well on her way to being a main pop girl; trust us. We’ve known that Dove is simply that girl since ‘Boyfriend’ was released; the material is all there! With ‘Too Much’ Dove Cameron is flexing her understanding of how to craft a pop song. She’s showing that she will consistently crank out songs we want to be on a dance floor blaring.

Coco Jones – ‘Taste’
If you haven’t dove headfirst into Coco Jones’s music, do yourself a favor and let ‘Taste’ be your jumping-off point! ‘Taste’ samples the iconic 2000s smash hit, ‘Toxic,’ and blends where pop/RnB is currently with the sounds of the early 2000s. If ‘Taste’ is any indication of what direction Coco is going with her upcoming album, Why Not More?, we are in for one of the best records of the year so far.

Isabel Pless – Workhorse
Workhorse is an album we have been so anxiously awaiting. This album shows off all of Isabel’s strongest muscles. From her storytelling to her soft, yet strong, vocals, everything hits exactly how you want it to. This album is any singer-songwriter lover’s dream, and our favorite track (at the moment) is ‘Company.’

Ashley Cooke ft. Joe Jonas – ‘All I Forgot’
This is the collaboration we never knew we needed! Joe Jonas going country is truly a dream sequence. And, while we hadn’t imagined Ashley enlisting Joe for this track, their voices mesh so perfectly. If you’re a fan of artists like Kelsea Ballerini or Ingrid Andress, allow ‘All I Forgot’ to be your introduction to your next favorite artist, Ashley Cooke!

Knox – ‘You Happened’
While we are (not so) patiently waiting for the release of Knox’s debut album, Going, Going, Gone, which will be out next month, Knox is busy putting out hit after hit. With the newest offering being ‘You Happened.’ There is something about Knox’s music that is especially relevant here on this track that sounds so early 2000s (think Allister, All American Rejects, etc.), and we can’t get enough.

Jensen McRae – ‘Praying For Your Downfall’
Jensen McRae is the songwriter everyone wishes they were. Truly, the way Jensen is able to capture emotions within her lyrics has amazed us since the very first time we dove into her discography. ‘Praying For Your Downfall’ is a look into what we can expect from Jensen’s album I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, which will be out next month and will be on replay for us until the end of time. We are eagerly awaiting for the world to understand Jensen’s crillance the way we do.
