From Lauren Spencer Smith to Meghan Trainor to Bebe Rexha, this week is stacked beyond belief! Let’s jump in!
Catie Turner – ‘Hurt You Now’
Catie is one of those artists where ever since she started releasing music, we’ve found ourselves in the lyrics. She beautifully paints these complex pictures with her music, and that skill is on its highest pedestal here on ‘Hurt You Now.’ ‘Hurt You Now’ deals with having to be the one to break things off when you know that the other person needs someone to be the push to get help, and when staying in their orbit isn’t what’s best for either of you. It’s a vulnerable tale as old as time.

Bebe Rexha – ‘I Like You Better Than Me’
Bebe Rexha is going to be one of the artists who are everywhere as we head into the second half of 2026. With ‘I Like You Better Than Me,’ we feel like Bebe has completely found her sound. A perfect mix of EDM-pop, allowing her often overlooked lyricism and her deep understanding of pop music to mesh beautifully with a heavy EDM backing track.

Mae Stephens – ‘Blue’
The concept Mae has described on this track of a ‘blue line’ is one we hadn’t heard put to words before. This concept of disappointment replacing hope, replacing faith, of a blue line being crossed, and knowing that has to be the end of things. Anyone who is going through a break-up, or ignoring signs pointing towards needing to break up, needs to listen to ‘Blue’ on repeat.

Tiffany Stringer – ‘Bullet’
Tiffany Stringer is a superstar; it couldn’t be clearer. ‘Bullet’ is a song that only comes with clarity. This song comes after the dust settles, both of you have moved on, and you see them in a new relationship and realize that longing and sadness aren’t emotions you’re feeling, it’s relief. If you’re a fan of artists like Maisie Peters and like to dabble in the country music world, Tiffany is for you!

Lauren Spencer Smith – THE ART OF BEING A MESS (deluxe)
If Lauren Spencer Smith releases new music, we are not far behind praising said music, it’s a given! Since we first heard ‘Fingers Crossed,’ we have been hooked on every word. Lauren writes about emotions in such a clear way, there is no mincing words, and these deluxe tracks, especially ‘Thick Skin,’ are a perfect example.

Knox – ‘Go For Broke’
If, like us, you are always looking for a revival of the best of early 2000s pop-punk, Knox is doing that seamlessly. Without question, we would have listened to ‘Go For Broke’ via our mp3 player as we walked around Hot Topic looking mysterious with headphones on. It’s a given. ‘Go For Broke’ is a larger-than-life track that showcases each of Knox’s artistic strengths perfectly.

The Band Perry – ‘PSYCHOLOGICAL’
In their first track of the year, The Band Perry is back with ‘PSYCHOLOGICAL!’ The songwriting on display here is the exact storytelling we fell in love with back in 2010 with their self-titled album. ‘PSYCHOLOGICAL’ feels both like a return to form while also having the aspect of growing up, experiencing a new string of emotions.

Claire Rosinkranz – My Lover
My Lover is going to be an album that is on repeat this summer. And for us specifically, ‘City’ is going to be on constant repeat. The slow build into one of our favorite choruses of the year for a pop track sealed that. If you’ve been a longtime fan of Claire like us, you will hear that signature Claire sound embedded in that track, as she always manages to do. Despite this record having a plethora of different emotions and sounds represented, the sun-soaked trademark is ever-present.

Meghan Trainor – ‘Get In Girl’
Ending this week’s new music coverage with Meghan Trainor only feels right! We felt instantly transported back to Title with this track. Meghan is using her famous formula for a pop hit and executing it perfectly. If you’re a fan of early Meghan music, you are going to feel right at home listening to this track. We can already picture this song on a rom-com soundtrack during a shopping or getting-ready-to-go-out montage, and we can hardly wait to see it come to life.
