Even though we still have five months left in the year, we think we’ve just went to one of our favorite 2026 concerts! Faouzia has landed in North America for the next leg of The FILM NOIR Tour, and we had the pleasure of attending the first show at Saint Andrew’s Hall in Detroit, Michigan.
You NEED to drop everything and get tickets to a Faouzia concert in a city near you. And if you already have tickets for the rest of her tour, here is everything that happened in Detroit.
Opening Songs
Moments before her Detroit show officially started, Faouzia ran out on stage with a trench coat over her stage outfit to greet her fans. A piano and drum solo followed her exit before we heard the iconic jazzy intro to the FILM NOIR album: ‘LOST MY MIND IN PARIS.’ Then came a few more songs from the album to get us even more hyped: ‘DON’T EVER LEAVE ME,’ ‘SWEET FEVER,’ and ‘WEIRDO.’ It was the perfect buildup to what would be one of the best nights of our lives.
Songs From The Deluxe
In preparation for the tour, Faouzia released her deluxe album, FILM NOIR (fin), last month. She made sure to sprinkle each of the three new songs throughout her performance, starting with ‘YOU’RE A NUISANCE.’ ‘BIRTHDAY’ and ‘we’ll have a family someday’ showed up in the second half of the show, much to the crowd’s delight. It was so refreshing to hear everyone sing along (because of course we’ve memorized the lyrics by now)!
Serving Piano & Vocals
Sandwiched between the high-energy performances of ‘TOUS CES MOTS’ and ‘DESERT ROSE,’ Faouzia sat down at the piano for a couple slow jams. She plays just as beautifully as she sings, by the way. Although ‘PORCELAIN’ faced a technical difficulty during the last high note, we didn’t let that stop us from being in awe of her stage presence. Next, she played her 2024 single, ‘Fur Elise.’ We definitely felt like we ascended after hearing this song live for the first time.
Fan Favorites
We tried to avoid any spoilers for Faouzia‘s concert before attending her Detroit show. So you can imagine our surprise when she performed two of her deep cuts: ‘Anybody Else’ and ‘Born Without a Heart!’ These tracks vary from show to show, so we’ll have to wait and see what songs she’ll pick for the rest of the tour. We’re curious to see what the audiences in other cities will get in the next few weeks!

Going Out With A Bang
Following the classics, Faouzia performed the two closing tracks from FILM NOIR, ‘PRETTY STRANGER’ and ‘ORNAMENT,’ as well as the remaining deluxe songs. (We felt all the feels for ‘we’ll have a family someday.’) We didn’t expect to hear ‘Minefields’ in the big 2026. Then came the internet’s all-time favorite: ‘Unethical.’ We tried to sing along but ran out of breath by the bridge, where Faouzia’s ethereal high notes carried us to another dimension.
But the show was far from over! Faouzia came back out for ‘ICE’ and ‘RIP, Love.’ These were the very songs that marked the beginning of us stanning Faouzia. Our younger selves would be so jealous of us. After slaying each of these songs, she gave an explosive performance of ‘PEACE & VIOLENCE.’ Even in the final song, Faouzia’s energy did not falter. She left everything on the stage and belted out the bridge like her life depended on it. It took a minute for us to come back down to earth.
