Save Face’s 2021 album has a myriad of other songs that could suit this list well, but we’ve decided to go for the title track. The song is anthemic and reminiscent of My Chemical Romance in the best ways, including being dramatically dark. Any lyric could work, but something about the way Tyler Povanda sings “one more kill for the highlight reel ’til I can’t feel anything” has us feeling different.

My Chemical Romance – ‘The Sharpest Lives’
Speaking of MCR, what better way to follow up mentioning them than by putting them on the list? The band is known for being theatrical with their lyrics, which makes their spot here perfect. Like Save Face, there are a number of other songs that would fit, but we feel as though ‘The Sharpest Lives’ fits best. Being about living recklessly, you can take virtually any part of this song and have it fit, but we personally recommend anything from the chorus.

Magnolia Park – ‘Reaper’
Utilizing pumpkins in their social media presence, and having one on the cover of Halloween Mixtape, it’s safe to say the members of Magnolia Park love Halloween. Not all of their songs are up for the occasion, but ‘Reaper’ sure is. With an eerie instrumental and Joshua Roberts’ vocal delivery, there are a few lines that would work well on your posts. We think the short and sweet ‘I don’t fear the reaper’ does it perfectly, but again, pick your poison.

Set It Off – ‘Killer In The Mirror’
This one works best if you plan on dressing up as a horror villain. Like some of the other artists here, Set It Off has a few songs well-suited for the holiday, but sadly there can only be one. With ‘Killer In The Mirror’ you can practically point at any lyric and have it fit amazingly. We like “tell me that I’m cutthroat” the most, but that’s just us. With this song, you can easily find something that works!

The Maine – ‘Forever Halloween’
Okay, listen. We know this might technically be cheating since the song directly mentions Halloween, but subtlety isn’t a requirement! This one is simple and direct to the point – something we love to see! Lyrically, the chorus and outro are most fitting for your needs, with the last line being our favorite. The Maine know how to put us in the spirit, and we greatly appreciate it!
