Our new favorite UK boy band, you say?! It’s an immediate yes from us 😍. Alec McGarry, Nathan Lambert, and Ryan Meaney are defining what it means to set new rules in the music industry with hit after hit….after hit 🔥. Just in time for spooky season, New Rules dropped their new single, ‘Ghost Town.’ The accompanying new music video is giving us chills, but in the best way possible. Even though our love life is currently a ghost town, we are positive that Alec, Nathan, and Ryan could fill the void with a simple serenade. We’re waiting, boys…🎸
The video opens with the boys sitting in an abandoned subway car while the other passengers are covered in a plastic film… spooky 👻. If only they would participate in the subway girl TikTok trend!
Although the boys seem to stay in this subway car for the entirety of the video, the shots begin to change rapidly, with the humans under the “ghosts” trying to escape. “Got no way out,” New Rules sings, mirroring the failed attempt at escape. By the end of the video, the other female passengers in the car turn human again, but Alec, Nathan, and Ryan return to a ghost-like state. We love this music video, but the real question is, will we watch it again?! Duh!
