Swifties, Taylor Swift is finally taking you behind the scenes of her amazing album folklore and in addition to that, we get live sessions of the songs? Could it get any better? Taylor created this chart-topping album (we still can’t stop listening to) together with Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, and Justin Vernon. The album transcends genres and is such a beautiful musical journey! It allowed fans to cry and laugh during these trying times. No eye was left dry with those relatable lyrics and they make everyone feel like we’re not quite so alone. A warm hug is provided by these masterminds.
This Is Where The Magic Happens
And can you believe they recorded folklore thousands of miles apart from each other and had never been in the same room together? …until now that is. Disney+ to the rescue! The amazing film folklore: the long pond studio sessions is out now on the streaming site and we never hit play faster than when it hit November 25 at 12:01 AM. The movie was filmed in upstate New York in September 2020 and it shows us Taylor (who by the way directed this film), accompanied by co-producers Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff and also Justin Vernon! Taylor performs each song in order of her adored, five-star album and for the very first time, reveals all the juicy details, stories, and secrets behind all 17 songs.
We certainly couldn’t wait to watch this gem of a movie and hit play as fast as we could! We are adoring these behind the scenes insights and have found a newfound appreciation for our favorite songs on the album! Taylor’s brain is so big and beautiful and we hope she never stops making music and the recording of her old songs goes smoothly!
