It’s barely been 2 weeks since BTS dropped their new album BE, and they have already made history with ‘Life Goes On.’ It has been an amazing few weeks for the group, breaking multiple records and snatching that Grammy Nomination with their mega-hit ‘Dynamite‘ for Best Pop/Duo Group Performance. But ‘Life Goes On’ is the true star of this week!
‘Life Goes On’ Makes History
‘Life Goes On‘ is barely a couple of weeks old and has already debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. This follows ‘Dynamite,’ which had also climbed up to No. 3 this week. Now talk about BTS smashing those charts. But that’s not all! According to Billboard, BTS is the first group in history to have two No.1 Hot 100 debut songs. This has never been done before, especially not with a non-English song!
In case you don’t know, ‘Life Goes On’ is the lead single of BTS’ one of a kind album BE, which also topped the Billboard 200 chart. Hello? Is there any chart this power group can’t climb? The album shares the honest emotions and thoughts the band felt during the pandemic. The message resonates with their fans, ARMY, since the record created amid COVID-19 carries the hopeful message that “life goes on,” and we really believe anyone can gain strength from this hopeful message.
We are very proud of these seven guys as they have worked hard to get to where they are today! Honestly, we can’t wait to see them at the 63rd Grammy Awards that will be held on January 31, 2021.
