Can you believe it was just earlier this year that NMIXX debuted, and they’ve already given us so many bops? Fresh off the heels of ‘DICE’ and ‘COOL (Your rainbow),’ our girls are back once again with their first-ever INTERMIXXION (intermission, but mixxified) single ‘Funky Glitter Christmas!’ That’s right, we’re getting into the festive spirit with an absolute jam.
‘Funky Glitter Christmas’ is everything we could’ve wanted from an NMIXX holiday song! It’s so fun and playful, and it even includes references to classic Christmas songs like ‘Feliz Navidad,’ ‘Deck The Halls,’ and ‘Joy To The World.’ The music video is just as fun, seeing the girls have the ultimate holiday party in a hotel room (even riding on a luggage cart a lá The Suite Life) and generally just having an amazing time. We’ll just pretend our invite got lost in the mail!
We think the outfits from the music video deserve their own section, so let’s discuss them! From the shimmery blue and green looks to the more preppy plaid moments and even the frilly dresses the girls pretend to try on, every shot had our jaws absolutely dropping. Their stylists really ate and left no crumbs with this one. Where can we get these looks for ourselves??
Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Jinni, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin never fail to bring a smile to our faces, and ‘Funky Glitter Christmas’ is even more proof that they’re literal sunshine in human form. Seriously, it’s impossible to be sad when you’re listening to them!
