I think of the record as an anthem for affirmations, positive self-talk, manifestations, living in abundance, speaking things into existence, all of that is kind of in the song, but in a really cool hood way.

In her latest conversation with Apple Music 1, Victoria revealed the latest single acted as a personal manifestation journey of overcoming postpartum depression. ‘On My Mama‘ was created just over two months after welcoming her newborn, Hazel, into the world in 2021. Finally, two years later, the song is out for us all to enjoy. It acts as a reminder of the importance of self-love. Despite disbelief surrounding these challenging times for the singer, we’re truly grateful she turned to music as a driving force to find solace.
