LE SSERAFIM Make It Look EASY With Their Newest Comeback

After almost two years since their debut, LE SSERAFIM still manage to keep us on the edge of our seats waiting for their next release. With every comeback, they bring us something new, fresh, and iconic. And LE SSERAFIM gave us exactly that yet again with EASY. Exploring new themes, new genres, and new styles, EASY is unlike any LE SSERAFIM release we’ve had before, and they reveal even more facets of their talent.

The Title Track

‘EASY’ is unique in LE SSERAFIM‘s discography, proving once again that they can do any genre and absolutely own it every time. ‘EASY’ is on the more minimalistic side, and takes most of its influence from R&B and trap. It might sound simple at first, but ‘EASY’ captures you in a way that makes it genuinely addictive and unforgettable. They took a risk with this song, gave it the LE SSERAFIM touch, and we’re obsessed.

A good song by LE SSERAFIM could never not be accompanied by a music video that is just as addictive. In this music video, they show beautiful aesthetics as well as an impressive performance. While ‘EASY’ might sound minimalistic, their dance moves are dynamic and energetic, creating a perfect balance to make the song even more iconic. Because yes, this entire comeback is already iconic to us.

The B-Sides

The title track isn’t the only element in this release that is unlike anything in their discography. The b-sides also explore different genres and influences in a unique way. And we love to see LE SSERAFIM prove just how versatile their talent is.

‘Good Bones’

LE SSERAFIM always hit with their intros, and EASY is no exception. The mini-album opens with ‘Good Bones,’ which, in good LE SSERAFIM fashion, mixes Korean, Japanese, and English spoken parts. But this intro sets itself apart due to its hard rock and punk influence. It makes it stand out, and it makes EASY start with a bang.

‘Swan Song’

If you’re like us and love LE SSERAFIM‘s softer songs, ‘Swan Song’ will be the one for you. It has similar vibes to some of their fan-favorite b-sides like ‘Sour Grapes.’ But ‘Swan Song’ is all about resilience and overcoming adversity, turning into what you were meant to be. We’re used to the confident image of LE SSERAFIM, but here, they open up and show a more vulnerable side. It makes it all the more special knowing most of the members participated in the writing of the song.

‘Smart’

‘Smart,’ on the other hand, is all about groove and having a good time. If there’s one song in this mini-album that will get you to have the most fun, it’s ‘Smart.’ This track is a celebration song. We see LE SSERAFIM‘s confident side again in this track as they reflect on their hard work and how far they’ve come, how far they’ll go.

‘We got so much’

EASY wraps up with ‘We got so much.’ This pop track has a captivating chorus that feels like an embrace. It shows yet another side of LE SSERAFIM and wraps up this amazing mini-album in a beautiful and satisfying way. It’s bright, cheerful, and full of hope. This final track is truly a gem.

LE SSERAFIM are known for exploring different genres and styles, but EASY is the comeback where they’ve left their comfort zone the most – and it paid off. With a mini-album that explores so many different sides of their identity, LE SSERAFIM prove once again that they keep evolving as performers and artists.
