K-Pop concerts are the best live experiences ever. We’re always so hyped to see our favorite idols performing the tracks we’ve been listening to on repeat for the past few months and seeing them having fun with international audiences. We had the chance to attend aespa’s Charlotte show for their current world tour, SYNK: PARALLEL LINE, and we absolutely loved every minute of it! Whether through their powerful singles or cutesy moments, the gorgeous and talented group made their first visit to the Queen City incredibly special! Here are our favorite highlights from the show and the number of times we were speechless with aespa’s performances:
Classic After Classic!
The perfect setlist exists, and it’s played during aespa’s world tour! Their discography is full of tracks that have become staples when talking about the K-Pop genre, and they are all included in every show of SYNK: PARALLEL LINE!
The girls opened the concert with ‘Drama‘ and an iconic walk through the stage, so we knew our lives were about to change when we heard WINTER’s “Yeah, yeah, I’m the drama.” Although their entrance was unforgettable, our favorite run-through of the whole setlist has to be ‘Whiplash,’ ‘Next Level,’ and ‘Armageddon‘ back to back. You know we had to dance the iconic choreos with our girls! Also, can we give a massive shoutout to ‘Black Mamba’ live? We’re still thinking about that performance! The entire arena cheered like crazy during the chorus!
Our Favorite B-Sides Are Even Better Live!
Alongside having legendary title tracks, aespa has released incredible b-sides that showcase the group’s range, and seeing them live is a dream come true. We must talk about how the girls made ‘Pink Hoodie’ such a highlight of the concert. It was definitely one of the most cheered performances of the night! The aespa members were so happy to see MY having fun with the song and even mentioned how cool it was to see so many fans wearing pink hoodies! We also have to talk about ‘Flights, Not Feelings’ live. They all sounded and looked ethereal during this track. We left the arena singing the lyrics!
The Solo Stages Are Breathtaking!
We were so excited to check out aespa’s solo stages, and they did not disappoint! Every member brought their solo song to life with a mix of fun energy and perfect aesthetics that matched the mood of their tracks. We loved every single choreography from this portion of the show! We chanted and screamed for our four girls individually as we saw them shining on stage.
The setlist order of the solos was so thought out! aespa’s solo singles in the SYNK: PARALLEL LINE have a brighter sound as we enjoy the performances one by one. This allows us to go into a perfect segment before ‘Spicy,’ their succeeding group performance. GISELLE opening the solos on the couch that she uses to start ‘Dopamine,’ followed by KARINA’s ‘UP’ explosive hip-hop stage, and NINGNING’s honey vocals during ‘Bored!’ is an incredible run-through! WINTER closes the solo section with ‘Spark,’ and let us tell you that our mouths were on the floor during the entire performance. She made sure that we danced our hearts out with her stage!

Tetris And Pokémon? Yes, Please!
Who knew soundtracks could slay so hard? aespa, of course! The group has included many of their original soundtracks in their live setlist for this world tour. These songs were so fun to see live! Right before this portion of the show started, the members asked us if we would “play a game” with them, and the entire audience started screaming and celebrating! The whole arena was chanting along to both ‘Hold On Tight‘ and ‘We Go!’
Many fans were also very excited when they saw the Tetris and the Pokémon visuals on the big screens. That’s how you know how loyal the fandom is and how they enjoy every banger that aespa releases!
The Girls Looked Fabulous!
aespa absolutely slayed every bit of the show with their incredible stage presence! The girls wore so many amazing and sparkling outfits, perfect for every section of the concert. They started ‘Drama’ with shining white looks, followed by princessy and colorful fits that left us in awe. Every single member of aespa looked gorgeous! We were so blessed with their presence. Those face cards do not decline!
At the end of the show, aespa wore daring black outfits, very similar to those they wore in the ‘Whiplash’ music video. And, of course, we cannot forget how they styled the tour merch for the sweet encores! We love it when our favorite idols wear more laid-back outfits when saying goodbye. With beanies and cute hairstyles, our aespa girlies took a group photo with the audience and were insanely grateful for every cheering MY.
Our four favorite girls had the time of their lives during the Charlotte show, just like us! They kept mentioning how impressed they were with the loud MY in the audience and said they would love to revisit the city! We’re so happy that aespa felt the warmth of the sold-out arena. It was such a memorable night!
aespa is about to end their North American leg with their Toronto and Chicago shows happening this month before traveling to Europe in March. We definitely recommend you attend the SYNK: PARALLEL LINE tour. You will have the best time, trust! Be sure to get your tickets right here!
