We Just Called To Say We Love Pentatonix

Is there anything prettier than Pentatonix’s signature harmonies and vocal runs? The five-piece acapella group have become a staple of the holiday season with covers of classic Christmas songs like ‘Mary, Did You Know?’ and ‘Here Comes Santa Claus,’ along with fun wintery tracks like The Neighbourhood’s ‘Sweater Weather’ and ‘Let It Go’ from Frozen. They’re adding to the list with their new cover of Stevie Wonder’s ‘I Just Called To Say I Love You!’

While it’s not specifically a holiday song, ‘I Just Called To Say I Love You’ mentions celebrations like Christmas, New Year’s, and Valentine’s Day. It’s an ode to showing your loved ones how much you care throughout the year, and that’s such an important message! You never know what someone is going through at the moment, and even a simple gesture like giving them a quick call could brighten their day. We love that Pentatonix are using their platform to spread love and positivity!

We can’t believe Pentatonix have been nice enough to bless us with their gorgeous voices since 2011! They give their all to their covers, original songs, collabs, and performances no matter how hard they have to work. The Christmas season wouldn’t quite be the same without their melodies and falsettos!

Kevin, Kirstin, Matt, Mitch, and Scott are some of the most talented singers around, and maybe even more special than their voices, is their unique bond as a group. They know each other’s strengths and manage to find a way to let each member shine in every song they sing. Where do we sign up to join their friend group?
