8 Pentatonix Music Videos To Get You In The Holiday Spirit

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and it’s even better with Pentatonix! Yes, you know that as the days get colder, our need to binge Pentatonix videos while under a heap of blankets, sipping hot cocoa, gets stronger. We know you relate. Good thing we’ve got a hand-curated playlist of our favorite Pentatonix music videos to get you into the festive spirit!

’12 Days Of Christmas’

This holiday classic can occasionally be deemed a little repetitive, but Pentatonix weren’t having any of it! Their spin on the ’12 Days Of Christmas’ is so fun and unique. From the beatboxing to Kevin’s solo to Mitch’s high notes, this arrangement blew us away. When this dropped last year, we added it to our Christmas playlists unbelievably fast.

‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen’

We’re taking it back to 2016 with Pentatonix‘s version of ‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,’ and it is epic. We regard this as one of the best Christmas song covers of all time. It’s just so wonderful and powerful; how could we not be obsessed?

This song went viral again last year and also sparked a TikTok trend called the #SnapChallenge. We gave it a go, and it’s not as easy as you’d think it would be! Here’s a video of Pentatonix taking a shot at the challenge; why don’t you give it a try too?

‘Kid On Christmas’ Feat. Meghan Trainor

Whoever was involved in bringing this collab together, we need to thank you. No, seriously. It feels like Meghan Trainor slots perfectly into the PTX dynamic, and this collaboration is just so filled with fun. The video recently dropped and has the potential to fill us with festive joy all year round.

P.S. Those fits are a certifiable holiday slay.

‘Carol of the Bells’

If you’re wanting some intensity and next-level harmonies, make sure you give this classic PTX video a watch. Maybe it’s something about the woodsy setting, but it’s almost like we can feel the crisp winter air from here. ‘Carol of the Bells’ is a cover we will never get tired of!

‘Angels We Have Heard On High’

We have to give it to Kirstin for this one. It’s nice to see her take center stage and for the group to take a moment to really showcase her vocals in this cover. The group always gives each other space to shine and support each other, and that’s just one of the things we love about Pentatonix! The icy Christmas trees and nutcracker in the background really elevate the holiday feels in this video. A must-watch!

‘Deck The Halls’

All decked out in holiday colors and in a room decorated like the Christmas card photoshoot of our dreams, the band put their usual unique spin on another holiday classic. This was also Matt’s debut video with the band, and if you want to feel some warmth and love this season, you just have to look to the comments and see how positive and welcoming all the fans were. PTX stans, we love you guys and your hearts of gold!

‘You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch’

We have one question. And that question is, when are we going to be hearing Matt as a Disney villain? His vocals in this are perfect and theatrical, and despite the wide smile on his face the whole video, he hit the villain tone brilliantly. It’s so fun to see Matt take the lead, and this is quickly becoming one of our PTX faves on our holiday playlist.
